Lowest ohm build on your REO

So, just out of curiosity, what's the lowest ohm build you've run on your REO, with what atty, and what was your build? I like to see what other people have run and what has worked for them. Mine is currently on an RM2, 2mm, 6 wrap, twisted 29g coming in at .66 ohms. I like it, but I still am waiting on my Hellboy from Catfish, in which I wanna go to around .3 if my 2200 AW IMR can handle it. Don't worry, I'll make sure it's safe first!

0.5 ohms, I don't like much lower than that. It was 28g kanthal. 1.5mm diameter. I can't remember how many wraps I did. I just kind of wing it on wraps haha.

The one thing about 0.3 ohms on the 2200mah. Them are 20a I believe. 0.3 ohms is roughly 14a. It's not pushing the battery too far, but getting close for comfort to me. That's why I like the 1600mah, since they're 24a batteries.

I always use 28g 6 wraps around a 1.93mm mandrel. Gives me 0.5Ω (although I just built my new black Odin and it came out 0.43Ω so not sure what happened there)

The lowest I've went is 0.3 ohms on an Odin with twisted 28g at 2mm i.d., I think it was around 5-6 wraps, I can't really remember.

Lately, I've been running Nuppins at 0.4 ohms using tensioned 26g microcoils, 7 wraps, and 2mm i.d. and it's been going great so far.

I party around .2 to .4 depends on the atty.

Too many builds to list for too many atty's on too many Reos. I try to match builds to joose for the best flavor in a given atty, mostly do from .4 to 1.8, twisted/tension/ugly coils 30g to 24g, single and dual, horizontal and vertical... most with RxW or KGD but also some mesh. The bottom line is small-medium atty chambers with big air work well for my long lung hits. I don't really like any of the 22mm atty's I bought for the Reos, so don't use those I tried (some I never even bothered to try).

I've never had any desire to go below .4. I'm usually at .45 to .5.

I run both of my Derringers at .35 which seems to be the sweet spot for me.

For me, I like it around .28-.29 ohms, 26g kanthal & Japanese cotton in my Derringers! Nomnom!!

I am sure the lower limit factor of coil building relies on the battery, not the Reo.

I've seen others mention in the past that below about .2 ohms, you'll likely collapse the spring. I don't know for sure. I've never gone that low.

got a duel coil 24g 6wrap at .28 in my odin that's lowest ive put on eather of my reo's even if I do have a few rda's built .2ohm and lower

If you're curious for reasons of safety/operation, I've run a few dual setups in larger atties (Derringer, Odin, Freakshow, etc.) in the .3ohm range to good effect. As for preferred resistance, it's really a matching of atty and juice - some I like in the .7ohm range (eg, single coil in a Chalice running a "big" juice like absinthe), and some I prefer to dial in for the intensity.

That's the build I just parked into one of the nuppins. Mine came in at 0.37 ohms. Performance wise it's been great, but I think the sweet spot for the juice I'm liking right now was 0.50 ohms. Still the lower build hits like a cannon which is kind of fun.

Yeah, the Nuppin is a hard hitter. I have both of mine at .47. I can't imagine going much lower than that.

My 0.3 ohm dual coil setup on the Rogue with a fresh battery is right at 14 amps. Just about the limit for me using 20 amp continuous batteries.

My normal setup is right at 0.5 ohms at just over eight amps. A lot better safety margin.

When I got my first Nuppin, I was amazed at how much harder it hit, compared to an Odin at the same resistance.

I've been a little under .4ohms while experimenting with my rm2's, to warm. After much time and many different coil builds on my Reo in one hand and a Marlboro in the other hand I have found that a .60 ohm single coil, w/cotton rope, 27g., I.d. 1.98mm on a rm2 w/2inch drip tip gives me the heat (throat hit) I was looking for to get me off the cancer sticks. Also started with 24mg unflavored nic with a hint of sweetener added. Thought i throw this in. This gives me and idea for a new thread to maybe help the new people visiting us. REO's CAN'T BEAT THEM w/a STICK!

The Nuppin hits hard, even with the airflow completely opened up. With that build, it's a flavor machine as well
