I have searched high and low but can't find anyone who has actually weighed an LP/SL Mini 2.1. I am very curious to find out if the difference would be a huge benefit to pocket carry. I'm tempted to beg Rob to do a LP/SL Mini 1.0 with the new build since I carry one of these everyday as my "long meeting" stealth vape. I really love the Mini 1.0s but the 2.1 has been riding shotgun since my 1.0s went back for a spa treatment. I like the new AW 18490 1200s for capacity but this is a bit much for my shirt pocket. If somebody would be so kind; I'd really appreciate the weight including a battery and empty bottle but no atomizer so we could reference this against the 4.9oz and 4.2oz numbers already posted for the standard Mini 2.1 & 1.0 respectively. Thanks in advance. :) Brew

p.s. - I still want to garner enough interest in the new AW 18350 800mah to get Rob to do a REO Micro. It would kill the Microstick overnight and provide the ultimate stealth vape with an RM2 on top. I love the Mini 1.0 but 15mm less height and 150 more mAH in a package that would disappear in a closed hand....:sneaky: Do it mod-master and you're one step closer to ruling the Universe

Thank you Robert! I can also use that difference to determine the weight savings for an LP/SL OG Mini as well. To me a Brass, twin-magnet Mini 1.0 would be uber-collectible like my GITD VVG but not something I'd carry :D

I had a mini woodvil 14500 many moons ago but am way too rough on those beauties for them to have left the house. I currently have only metals save one Cocobolo 18490 and that will be going to a friend or the classies fairly soon. I still have 10 metal REOs but expect to sell my 2 standard Grands now that they've been updated by Robert. The Nuppin and a LP REO is the way I roll now on my bigger metals.

My OG Minis still have the hex key bottom screws, were my first acquisitions and will likely be with me for life. I just bought the 650mah 9A AW 14500s but it is still a taller mod than an 18350 would be. Additionally, the 18350 800mah is a 12A offering and it'll be interesting to see if it holds the 4.2-3.7V range longer than the 14500 at a reasonable amp draw.

However my interest in a REO Micro is solely for those environments were vaping is verboten for hours on end. 17 hours in a non-smoking tin can will get a bit annoying without at least one vape break....especially if I have a medicinal drink or 2:facepalm: I spent a large portion of my career flying to and from Japan. Was on only one smoking flight back in the 90s and wouldn't ever want to do that again. Flew on Korean air and likely smoked a carton on that flight while only lighting up 2. The passengers were mostly Asian business men coming back from trips to the US and the majority chain-smoked for the entire 16+ hour flight...:vapor: :smokie:

I know, I know but I never draw any attention and would never inconvenience anyone sitting nearby. My infrequent stealth use would require them to blood-test me to know I was using my mod. I'm very conscious of what getting caught could do to the rest of the vaping community. 2-4 hours in a tin can is no biggie but we plan to do Australia and New Zealand at some point where an ultra sneaky mod would be greatly appreciated. So I used our digital food scale to weigh my black anodized Mini 2.1 and got 3.345oz with no bottle or battery and 4.525ozs with the battery added.

So the LP/SL saves almost 17% on the Mini 2.1 without a bottle & battery. Applying that to the 4.2oz documented for the OG mini and removing .71ozs for the weight of my AW 650 mah battery & a full 3ml bottle at .135oz leaves an approximate weight of 2.8oz as well not including the savings of shaving it to LP. I'd guess an OG Mini LP/SL to weigh about 2.4oz empty.

Empty mini 2.1 LP/SL 2.8 ounces with the battery 4 ounces
