Ok folks. I am clearly missing something with regards to the LR Atty. I bought it about a month ago, and since then every juice I have put in it tasted burnt. I was then advised to remove the bridge, the mesh that arced over the bridge, and the internal wick so that I can drip directly on the coil. I have done so, but everything still tastes burnt. I like the volume of vapor, but the taste is horrid. Soooo....
What am I missing and/or doing wrong here? Why does everyone else have such good results from these things?

@Domino38
I am using a 510 (3.7v 14500 box mod) and regular PG based juice that appears to be Dekang. I used the same juice and box mod on a regular atty and 510 carts all the time and its awesome. I have tried RATH Juice (100% VG base, USA Made) as well which tastes slightly less burnt, but not by much.

@Stu
801's are kind like that normally though... at least to me. They leak ALOT, and the flavors are quite muted sometimes while some are actually stronger on an 801. I think the flavor issue is in part due to the longer tube between atomizer coil and mouthpiece which allows the vapor to cool more and become a bit more airy.

Honestly, at this point I think I either have a crap LR Atty or am just not using the right liquid. I have been considering ordering some HV Juice from NHaler, but that stuff is ridiculously expensive when you are used to paying 42¢ a ml. (Thank you LiteCigUsa!)

I have tried the LR atties from three different vendors. So far, I have only had one of them that did the burnt taste thing and I got it fixed by my cleaning method that I won't post on here because, frankly, I don't want to hear it.
I am not sure what caused the taste other than I did leave the wicks in when I first tried it just to see if they would be ok. Of course, they weren't, and I pulled them after about 15 minutes. The taste was still there after I pulled them so I cleaned it and it was fine after that.
I guess what I am saying is try to clean that atty with something strong and you may be able to save it.

Regards
Jim
