LR cartomizer at 5 volts

It may be working great for now, but probably not for long. You're pumping over 12 watts through the atomizer which has a coil that is specifically designed for a lower wattage (the LR runs at 6.8 watts at 3.7v).
It's best described as being similar to plugging a flashlight bulb into direct house current. May work for a little while and then *pop*
It's best not to go over 4 volts with a LR atty if you want any life out of it. If you have them and just need to use them up... go for it!
