I always thought the Provari was too expensive, but now that I finally got one recently I wish that I had gotten it much earlier.

It is such a well-built, finely machined device that's built to last a LONG time. It screams quality. Factor in that should it ever need servicing, Provape will be right there to do it. It's one of the safest mods you can own with its built-in inteligence. Built-in battery tester and built-in ohms tester. Gently alerts you when your battery is getting low. Oh, and its variable voltage...one of the couple of mods available that will provide precisely what you dial in, everytime.

Just my opinion, but the way I looked at it, the Chinese-made mods can do much of what a Provari can do, and at an initial much lower cost. But once the warranty is out, who is going to repair it? Will this mod provide me with all the safety features that the Provari can? Can this mod deliver the same vape from from start to finish, every time, during the duration of each battery? Probably not.

You may not need a Provari now. But chances are you will end up with one eventually like I have. Only you can decide whether to get one sooner or later.

But Baditude, I read here somewhere that the button and menu system REALLY SUCK! ;)

I'm sorry. I'm being a smart-... again. Contrary to popular* belief, the menu system is about as complicated as a pair of socks. If frying an egg is too much for you to handle, than I definitely would NOT recommend getting a ProVari. Outside of that though, I'm pretty confident that you'll figure it out in (literally) minutes.

* "Popular" meaning one person, basically.

get you a used LT in the classifieds you can catch them pretty cheep if you have patience. If nothing else its a good back up or a rough and ready mod for activity's such as boating, camping , hiking, things that you might ruin or lose your Provari. So yes get your Provari but its always smart to have a back up.

Get the provari and skip the steps to get there you will be happy you did.Once you have you will be pleased you did from the solid build to the true steady voltage throughout battery life. Then you have all the options as well nice to be able to see what ohm your carto, attty is plus all the protection the vari has. Then there is customer service if ever needed 2nd to none.

A week ago I would have said to get the LT, but I'm starting to have minor build quality issues with mine. Everyone will have different experiences so take mine with a grain of salt. Don't get me wrong though, I still enjoy it and will keep using it until I have money set aside for the Prov., it's just a larger upfront cost that may be out of reach for some to start.

I know I'm getting a Provari, maybe not now but in a month or too I will. For now ill just spend my money elsewhere like a on a RA and maybe more juice because you can never have too much juice ahahah

I have All of the Above. An 650mAh eGo Twist. A Mini-Lavatube. A Mini-Provari. And a Regular Provari. They All work Great but they All have a few Pluses and a few Minuses.

My Regular Provari is my Favorite. But it is a little Big and Heavy to carry around with me. Whereas the eGo Twist is Perfect to carry in my Shirt Pocket, the battery Isn't large enough to last all day. The Mini-Lavatube is a Nice Balance between Size and Battery Life. But it feels a Little Cheap in my Hand compared to the Stainless of a Provari or an eGo Twist.

If you Want and Know you are going to get a Provari, I would hold off buying anything and get the Provari when you're ready.

One thing to Consider about getting a Provari is this. If you buy a Mini-Provari and an Extension End Cap, you would have a Mini-Provari AND a Regular Provari. That is a VERY cool setup.

A Mini-Provari is more Discrete and Easier to Carry. And a Regular Provari is Great when you Kicking Back and want Longer Battery Life. The Extension End Cap let's you Choose what size you want to use for a given Situation.

Im not going to make a sugjestion one way or the other, but I will share with your my personal experience.I started in VV with the twist and loved it.Loved it so much I wanted to move forward into more options and functions.I decided from all my reading here that i would skip all the middle steps(save a few bucks) and go str8 for the Provari, and I did.I do not regret it one bit.The Provari IS everything it is said to be and more IMO.Last week I was leaning toward a zmax and decided to get a Legacy and a kick(variable watts) instead.I mean I already have the provari(variable volts) so no need for a device that uses both technologies RT?...LOL So what Im getting at is,if you are going to be putting yourself in a financial bind just to get a device that you THINK will be the last thing you buy..Think again.I thought I would buy the Provari and end all future puchases of battery devices, and as it turns out, this vaping is more of a hobby for me.I like trying out the different methods.Im sure that i will be purchasing others in the future.Im glad i got the Provari out of the way at the 1st.It makes spending 50.00 to 100.00 on the others seam a bit easier,if that makes any since...:)and although I backed out of the zmax co-op Im positive I will own one at some point(when the bugs are found and exterminated)...so if I must give advice,it would be this.....stay true to your budget and you will enjoy whatever you purchase without remorse.

I didn't read all the way through but have to wonder if you have a twist, why get a LT? They do the same thing so I would wait for the Provari.

I have a LT and 2 clones and 2 Provari's. If I had it to do over, I would just get the Provari. I do like my LT but not crazy about the clones.

I'd buy a 510 and throw all that fancy shmancy forum junk away..

Seriously though, You want an LT while you wait? Just buy it, you don't need our approval.. You can bear with the Twist (which you'll still find yourself using after the 'new' wears off of whatever you buy) and want a Provari, wait and buy it.

Suggestion: Find a cheap but fully functional LT on the classes that someone did the same thing you want to do with and buy it. Then resale it when you can get the Provari.

Do what you want honestly. I went the same method you did. Went from an ego, to a LT, then a Provari. I don't regret it at all. I now have vv backups to my backups. I do plan on getting more mods. You will appreciate the Provari more when you get it. I still use my LT along with my LT.
