Yeah, I do that ..... after shaking I let the bubbles rise to the top, then give the bottles a series of little squeezes .... kind of a "Out with the bad air, in with the good" deal for two or three times to allow for the juice to "out gas" the nastiness.

I KNOW Sooner says his juice uses some alcohol based flavorings, but I have to say, I've got over 20 bottles from Lucky 7, and not one of them have that nasty chemical or perfume smell that I'm used to getting with custom mixed juices. Granted, my experience only covers maybe 5 or 6 different companies, but I had gotten to believe that the nasty initial chemical/perfume smell was the norm for pre-steeped juice.

Ah-Grasshopper "Wax on Wax off" or is that "Out with the Old in with the Good". Kind of a pain in the backside.

I know of the chemical smells and taste you mention. I have noticed it in store bought "Off the shelf" juices and some on-line purchases. I have also found it very hard if not impossible to get rid off. These are also the juices that give me a fit of the thirsties.

Actually I haven't noticed much change with age or shaking with the L7 juice. It is pretty good out of the mail box and does get a little more mellow (better) with time. For me I have no qualms about using it from day one.

I did see you mention your Peanut Cup was better at lower power levels. I have seen some people hear talking about 10 to 15 watts. I don't know how they do that and not just cremate their tongues. If I go much above 7 watts everything starts to taste burnt. Which is one of the flavors that my ancient taste buds can still taste [strange irony now that I think about it].

Actually depending on what atty I am using I run from 5.5 to 7.5 watts MAX. Also my buds have a similar history as yours 50 plus years of around two packs a day so my buds take some strong flavor concentrations to get them to even wake up or maybe I should say "resurrect form the dead".

Still waiting on my order, hope the flavors are good, the prices were great!

The flavors I've tasted, and all of the reviews I've seen posted, the only flavor that someone didn't like was the cola.

I love both the Caramel and Peanut Butter Cup so far ..... I have quite a few steeping, and ALL smell mouth watering good.

And I have tasted L7 right out of the bottle on my tongue and they taste pretty much like they smell. I have tried that with other brands with some very bad "direct taste" results - the kind that make you say "God - I'll never do that again".

The heck with all that steeping nonsense ..... I WANNA TRY MY JUICE!!!!!

I'm using a little different setup than yesterday, a VTR with a 2.2 ohm iClear30s (ran out of fresh Aspire coils) set at 8watts.

Because of all the OOOOOs and AHHHHHs the other day over the MPS juice, I figured I'd give it a shot. After my experience with the Peanut Butter Cup yesterday, I thought it would be best to start at a low power setting and work myself up if need be. Right off the bat this juice is wonderful. Pineapple is the predominate flavor, with a hint of strawberry just kind of peeking through .... and to be perfectly honest, I don't even know what the heck a mango looks like, let alone tastes like ..... so I'm not sure if it's in there or not, but the juice tastes GREAT.

I've mentioned before my tastes tend toward the sweet stuff, and I really don't consider myself a fruit flavor vaper, but the pineapple provides a sweetness that makes this juice very pleasant. I don't really see this juice as one of my all day, vape a dozen tanks full in a row kind of juice, but it definitely has earned a SOLID position in my juice rotation.

Throat hit seems pretty mild, and vapor is on par with other 50/50 juices.

In my humble opinion, everybody will LIKE this juice .... and if your flavor profile tends toward the fruit flavors, you will LOVE this juice.:2c:

My order of 8 120mL bottles from Tuesday March 11th finally moved in to the Awaiting Shipment status this morning. So it seems as though they're taking about a week to get orders out (assuming it goes out today), incase anyone was wondering what to expect from current ship times. I'll post reviews upon receiving and thank you to everyone else who has been providing their thoughts on flavors and steeping. :toast:

made my first order on 3/9. shipped 3/14 (not too shabby)
The tracking number I received doesn't work on the USPS or Stamps.com sites.

It's sent via UPS, not USPS that's why. Just paste the tracking number you get into Google and it'll bring up the UPS tracking tool.

Anyone try their juice with a higher VG ratio (70VG or more)? Just wondering if it could use a flavor shot or what people think. How about their standard 50/50...flavor shot.

I see a lot of reviews but not to many comments on the ratio of PG/VG people are ordering... Unless this is a new thing on their site.

Thanks for the feedback!!

The only thing new about PG/VG is now you can select it during purchase options. You could always request it the comment section of your purchase... kind of after the fact way.

The more VG the more flavor muting. Some outfits add extra flavor as your selected VG to PG goes up. Caveat this is just me. but at 50/50 almost all companies including L7 the flavor is very weak for me.

I have some coming @50/50 that sooner is going to add a couple of extra flavor shots to. Unfortunately that is still two days out so I can't say much now but I will definitely post back as soon as my new juice comes in.

Ok sounds great! Please report back when you get yours!

I have a bunch of juice steeping from the vape mall at all different ratios. I'm usually a VG fan... I added some flavor shots in some of my orders of 30pg/70vg from the vape mall... I think it might be to much for me...but gonna steep a bit longer and see if the incredibly harsh hit just needs to air out a bit :)

I just received my order from them today:

Apple
Butterscotch
Camel
Cantaloupe
Cappuccino

So far my favorite is cappuccino. It has a nice coffee flavor with a hint of sweetness. The others smell great, but were a bit underwhelming. I am getting over a cold though, and am still stuffed up, so I will let them steep until I clear up. Definitely looking forward to cappuccino with my morning coffee though!
