FYI to lucky7 your emails are being flagged as spam. you might have landed on a spamlist
Anyone know what order number they're up to shipping? Today is day 4 awaiting fulfillment. Not complaining because it's well within the max of 6 days they estimated when I ordered, but I am starting to worry a little given their reputation.
#2780 shipped yesterday
Ah-Grasshopper "Wax on Wax off" or is that "Out with the Old in with the Good". Kind of a pain in the backside.
I know of the chemical smells and taste you mention. I have noticed it in store bought "Off the shelf" juices and some on-line purchases. I have also found it very hard if not impossible to get rid off. These are also the juices that give me a fit of the thirsties.
Actually I haven't noticed much change with age or shaking with the L7 juice. It is pretty good out of the mail box and does get a little more mellow (better) with time. For me I have no qualms about using it from day one.
I did see you mention your Peanut Cup was better at lower power levels. I have seen some people hear talking about 10 to 15 watts. I don't know how they do that and not just cremate their tongues. If I go much above 7 watts everything starts to taste burnt. Which is one of the flavors that my ancient taste buds can still taste [strange irony now that I think about it].
Actually depending on what atty I am using I run from 5.5 to 7.5 watts MAX. Also my buds have a similar history as yours 50 plus years of around two packs a day so my buds take some strong flavor concentrations to get them to even wake up or maybe I should say "resurrect form the dead".
I went to the Lucky 7 site today because the inexpensive prices appealed to me, and also the positive reviews about the juice flavors.
I had several bottles in my cart to check out, and then noticed the processing time, several days, before shipping. I decided not to pull the trigger. I really hate waiting for stuff I've ordered online.
I understand that a new business takes some time to get all the kinks out, but now after reading about how long some of you have waited to get your orders, I'm glad I changed my mind. I'm going to wait for them to get it together before I order from them.
I went to my favorite place MBV and ordered today at about 2 p.m. I just got a notice that my order has already shipped today.
So how is St George these days, I was born in Dragerton (East Carbon City) a few years ago, like about 57+ I'm ordering from L7 for my next juice, my taste buds seem to be waking back up after about 43 years as a PAD smoker with the exception of the last year or so I had cut down to about half a pack. Have you ever tried to heat steep your juices? It speeds things up by a week or so. I started doing it with all my MT Baker stuff. Get a bowl of dry rice that is deep enough to reach the neck of the bottle of juice and heat it in the microwave to about 180 to 200 f. (don't go above 230, the LDPE most of these bottles are made of melts between 236 and 250) I use my instant read thermo. for testing meat or an infared to check it. after the rice is hot, remove cap and dripper tip, nestle the bottle down in the rice and let sit till cool, when cool shake the heck out of it and in a day or two you're good to go.
I tie mine to one of the dogs and just let him chase rabbits.I have been thinking about trying heat and high speed stirring to expedite the steep time. The local kitchen supply shop sells a gadget to create a froth on a cup of mocha and it is pretty cheap - just a thought.

I think you're on to something. Sure beats buying a gallon of paint and sticking your juice bottle onto the shaker for a ride.PS - Hmmm... how about a drill motor with a Martini Spoon attached.

Seriously. I've actually seen some UV/Shaker thingie advertised on a juice site somewhere. Can't find it though.
I don't remember ordering the big 120ml bottles but that is what they sent.
