Second thoughts on the lung thing

I have a long driveway, about 2 football fields to the mailbox.
For the last 6 months, I have to drive to get the mail.
, I could not walk as the breathing or lack there of, would not let me.
I have still been driving for the last month, even vaping.
So today, I thought I would give the walk to the mailbox...a try.

YAHOOOOOOOO!
I made it there and back and just had a tiny bit of heavy breathing right at the last!!!

This is only after about 40 days of vaping and 22 totally off analogs!

This is nothing short of a miracle for me!

No medical evidence here either; but I don't need it! Outdoor activities are now much more at ease and breathing much easier. A mountaintop that I hunted last year made me stop a couple times on the way up to catch my breath (smoking). This year (vaping) went right up, no breaks, and not winded when I got there. Also just taking deep breaths I can tell a difference; I know how big a breath I could take in over the summer while swimming/diving....if I take the same breath now, I can pause and take in at least 50% more air on top of that same breath. Numbers are just numbers but no matter what they may say I FEEL AND BREATHE so much better that I am convinced.

Most of my life, I had a good tolerance to smoking, no asthma, no bronchitis. However, it catches up to you eventually. I was getting constant wheezing. I could tell it was really starting to take it's toll. After about 5 months of no cigs, my lungs feel perfectly clear. Very little coughing and no phlegm. I don't think the vaping is 100% harmless to your lungs, but it definitely is a hell of lot easier on them than smoking.

I smoked 1 to 1.5 PAD analogs from the time I was around 19 until now. 19 years of that smoking was while I was in the army running 5-8 miles at least 3 times a week, sometimes more- rarely less. It's amazing how resilient your body can be. With all that said I REALLY wish I had never smoked analogs.
