Not sure where this came from. My internet travels have been far and wide even researched the UK ban a bit to see what can happen here. This is from some contact with LungUSA or ALA is mentioned in text thinking American Lung Association, but not sure as again, I've been all over the place this week banging my head against every brick wall of FDA propaganda I meet.

I know that smoking is a very hard addiction to stop. There are several
products out there that can help people stop smoking. The ALA only recommends
products that have been FDA approved and have research done on them, so we do
not recommend the e-cigs. Now I do not know how you have gone about quitting or
what products you have used in the past, but a big part of quitting is changing
the habits and routines. Once you put the cigs down this addiction of smoking
is just like the drinker , you may still want one but that is the mind playing
games and not the body needing nicotine, one cig will put you right in the trap
of smoking again. We do not recommend going cold turkey ( just walking away
from the cigs), when a person goes cold turkey they start having too many
physical withdraws and they do not like the way they feel and they go right back
to smoking. I highly encourage you to give us a call and we can discuss your
situation. We are here M-F 7am -9pm central time. No matter what our lungs
inhale, if we are exposed to enough of it over time you are causing damage to
the lung tissue.
Seems like their hearts are in the right place, but your average goodie two shoes who cant recommend or consider anything not fully approved by FDA, BP, etc etc. Anybody wants the phone number (encourage me to call, no HIGHLY encourage me to call, but no phone number) you'll have to email the addresses included.
