Hi!

I know nobody can substitute for my doctor on this but I have doctor phobia so I'm asking here!

Been vaping about three weeks and have practically given up cigs (only 2 in last 4 days!)

My lungs feel odd! Not struggling to breathe but almost like I have too much air?! I have asthma and have confirmed this with my peak flow meter - my lung capacity has increased by 100 L/Min compared to normal.

This is great, but the feeling is kind of odd, almost like a tickly, vibrating feeling. I've not really started coughing anything much up. In fact my smokers cough has basically gone and I'm not needing my asthma inhaler at all.

How does this compare with other experiences? Perhaps this is what normal lungs feel like?!

Sinuses are a bit odd as well, as if they're clearing but still rather clicky and uncomfortable...

I have that healthy allergy to doctors too. :)

It is probably you are slightly allergic to a component in the eJuice.

Most likely a flavoring ingredient or PG.

A less likely culprit is VG. Some. VG is extracted from palm. My former land lady was allergic to palm oil, dates, the whole 9 yards

Good for you. It sounds to me like you are reaping the benefits of switching to vaping. There are those that were diagnosed with COPD and now their doctors are amazed at the improvement. Others are very pleased with how much better they feel all over.

I lost my morning smokers cough withing the first couple of weeks and even after 45 + years of smoking I didn't cough up any of the disgusting stuff I expected to have to get rid of.

It could very be that you are actually feeling what lungs should feel like. Even though you don't like going to a doctor you may need to at some time if for nothing more than peace of mind.

I will say after about a year and a half at this, my wheezy sounding cough is gone. I never had true asthma or COPD by lung testing, but it was pretty junky in there. Now I'll occasionally have a cough when I vape but it sounds like a normal person's light cough, not the hacking sound it used to be.

It took just around 2 weeks of quitting the analogs and switching to vaping that I noticed I could take deeper breaths, and I could smell and taste again. After about 3 1/2 months, the change is incredible. No smokers cough, no hacking halfway through trying to take a deep breath, everything tastes new again.

Asthma and a copd diagnosis here.
I didn't have much "lung clearing" going on in the beginning yet like you I noticed better lung function and less congestion/phlegm within a couple days. Cut out a pack a day right off the hop.

I did discover early on however my compromised lungs prefer high PG liquids with minimal flavouring.
Had to go full on DIY to achieve this. The market's gone all high VG since when I started... 5 years ago.
Keep it up!!!
