Did I read this wrong? You don't smoke but now are vaping? Introducing anything "new" in your body/lungs with have some affect and if you really are not originally a smoker then I wouldn't be surprised if you have a soreness to your lungs as this is new for your body.

If you don't smoke why are you now vaping?

I'm noticing that this seems to be a trend and I do not understand it at all.

If your only smoking Cigs every 2 months you are over vaping, take it easy go slow.. I suggest that you not smoke at all. if your vaping cause of the taste or its cause you have people around you that do. re think it. or like I said take it slow. when I started I only vaped when how I use to smoke. which would be only every 2 months for you. also try not to suck it into your lungs and blow out try just suck into your mouth and blow out

I vape because I dont want to keep smoking cigs every time I have a friendly reunion with my dorm mates. The reason why I'm worried is because I could smoke 3-4 cigs one night and in the morning dont have the feeling of sore lungs. In another note, do you have to be a nicotine addict to switch to vaping? Like are you guys happy that people are choosing to vape rather than smoke? I dont know how old you guys are (maybe 30-40) but at college everyone is vaping instead of smoking...

I don't understand it either. Vaping is becoming a "trendy" thing now. I go to a local shop and all I see are a bunch of hipsters with their mechs and boxes and blowing huge clouds. the few I've talked to never smoked to being with. This just boggles my mind. But I think it's the same as those using Hooka that have never smoked but Hooka is cool.

A non smoker just starting off vaping will notice discomfort, trouble breathing isn't anything to take lightly, it is your body telling you something, you should pay attention to what it says.
If it continues for any length of time or gets worse you should seek Dr's advice, not internet advice.

I and many others experience problems with high VG juices that range from an uncomfortable tight chest feeling to hard to breathe elephant standing on chest feeling. Might be your pg/vg ratio or a flavoring you're sensitive to.

See the vaping instead of smoking I get. Sorry if I came off as an .....hole but honestly I am. But if you're not smoking very much then your body/lungs are not really used to it and now if you are vaping the same applies that your body is not used to it. There is the whole VG/PG ratio to consider. Some people have issues with VG and PG and so you may have to play around with the ratios of your juice to find something that works for you. There's also the nicotine level but you said you are vaping 0 nic so that isn't a variable.

Introducing anything new into the body is going to have an affect, positive or negative and it is different for everyone. But as has been suggested if you have severe issues see a doctor immediately.

Vaping is the cool thing to do now. I've been noticing it too at my local B&M. These kids are just turning of age, never smoked before, new to vaping, and they are buying a mech mod, with a competition style rda, super low build installed with efest 35As, and let loose upon the world to "blow them clouds" and "be all about that vape life". To each their own I guess.

If you have a variable voltage try a lower level then go up also take it easy start out slow. I do under stand your point. If you do smoke casually and don't want to keep doing that or worry about it becoming a bigger habit. also try a higher VG and lower PG or go straight VG it also can help. I did have this problem when I switched and I had some great advice to go to a lower PG. also where are you buying your Juice? buy it from a place where you can make the choice on levels. I prefer a place that makes to order

Well I did 15 lung hits in a row last night.( I always did that when smoking cigs). Maybe thats what causing the problem?

My first question, is what type of juice are you using? Ejuice contains Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerine, flavoring, and Nicotine. Since you've eliminated the Nicotine, I would imagine it might be one of the other ingredients.

First, I would check to see if you're dry burning the coils. When the wick gets dry, sometimes there's not enough juice, and the coils get too warm. This can release chemicals that aren't normal to vaping. Usually, an experienced vaper will know when their cols are running dry, but since you're a new vaper, you may not know. If the vape is warm, and you get a severe throat hit....stop. give the wick time to re-saturate before taking another vape.

Second, some people have a mild allergy to PG. It causes a slight skin irritation. You might be allergic to Propylene Glycol. I would try a pure Vegetable Glycerine (VG) mix. See if that helps.

Congratulations for choosing vaping over smoking! I don't mind 'kids' getting into vaping, if that means they won't start smoking.
That said....taking 15lunghits in a row when you've never really gotten used to smoking, might be a bit much. My lungs were used to getting gunk on them before I started vaping. But I have experienced being winded, especially with juices with more than 50% vg.
You might want to try mouth-to-lunghits, if that's possible with your setup, so first draw the vapour into your mouth, then inhale. That might be a little more easy on your lungs. Imo, it gives more flavour too....
