well like the title says ive been lurking for about a month now, reading and getting the vast range of knowledge on here.

Myself, been a 2-3 PAD smoker for about 15 years, started when i was around 15-16 and finally decided it was time to switch, or my GF who is a non smoker decided for me when i moved into her place and had to go outside to smoke. i have been on and off vaping for the last couple of years, had a couple of tanks couple of evod style batterys (one of which is my spare). for my tanks have a kanger t3s, aspire bdc vivi nova, and now a aspire nautilus full size with bvc coils. my main battery is a vision spanner 2. Anyway my main reason for finally registering is i have a couple of questions that i did not find on here anywhere.

1. is the sigelei legend worth buying.... i know its a major upgrade for what i have right now and is also in my price range $80 (i am the kind of person that if i can give my business to a local store id rather spend a few more bucks then order stuff online. i was in a brick and mortar this morning getting some more juice when i seen it under the glass, the guy working was nice enough to put a battery in it for me and let me screw on my nautilus to try it out and to be honest the flavor was so much better.

2. is there a good mod that will allow me to use my nautilus during the day (my job requires me to spend about 7hrs a day driving). and also allow me to take off the tank and put on a rebuildable when i get home. (i apologize if this question was already answered on here i didnt find it)

i guess thats it for questions and my into..... for now anyways.

Edit--- forgot to mention the first one i started was a number 7 ecig or something like that... did not work for me... bought the started kit and didnt make it a day before going back to normal cigs

Hello and welcome to the forum cableguy. Glad to have you here!:)

I can't speak to the Sigelei Legend as I have not done any research on it but there are LOTS of mods that would fill your bill from something as small as the iStick ($35) or the MVP ($40) as long as you were not sub-ohming. Both of these have huge batteries, variable v/w and passthough charging.

Hopefully others will chime in with their thoughts on the Sigelei and others mods.

Welcome 417cableguy! I have the Sigelei Legend and really like it. It runs my Nautilus just fine (and the Kanger tanks I have). I have a Kayfun rebuildable tank on it right now with a 1.5 ohm coil. I just tried my Tugboat dripper which has a sub-ohm build and it won't handle it so I'm assuming that it won't take sub-ohm builds (although I could be wrong).

I have the DNA 30 and the Sigelei 50 box mods which I believe would do what you want and they have long-lasting battery power and can be used as a passthrough while charging with a micro charger. The ZNA 50 would also do the same thing and has a little smaller form factor but runs off an 18650 battery so you might have to carry a spare with you if you are vaping for most of those 7 hours you are driving. All of these would run your Nautilus just fine and handles my Tugboat build.

Hope this helps.

I have the Legend V2. (If the power button can be twisted, it's a V1)I have no problems with it. Use it with carto tanks. Nice stainless constuction. Little heavy. Never a problem. But as a driver myself I'm going to a box mod. The Legend is nice, but if you place it down it likes to take off like a missle due to it's weight and find areas under your seats that you didn't know existed ;-)

Damn i knew i forgot something... o and thanks for the quick replys, went to eat dinner and came back and poof 2 replys already,

anyway what i forgot.... i do not plan on sub ohming... maybe around 1.2-2.0 for now... at least till i get the hang of things, and to be honest im just about scared to blow my hand off. also i do not like the feel of box mods so that throws the dna and the mvp out... also while im driving i am chain vaping... from 730am to when i get home at about 530pm i go threw the 5mil tank and the spinner 2 i have i have to put on the charger when i get home (the reason for the spare evod starter battery)... so it would be nice to have something with a battery guage at least till have the hang of knowing when the battery needs to be charged and i can swap it out, i do not mind swapping batterys threw out the day. from what the guy at the vape store told me the legend would allow me to stack 2 18350 or 1 18650, that would last about 500 puffs. so im almost positive that i would need to have extra with me. also it is a vv/vw mod that is 8-15watt so from what i have read on here that :should: run my 1.2-2.0 ohm coils just fine. am i correct in my math? all and all it will run mod batterys with a extra, and a charger around $150... i may have forgot to ask if there are any other mods that are similar.... i know im going to get slammed here but im quoting the sales rep "the vamos and the provari are old technology" which is the reason him showing me the legend. it is about the same size weight and price range.... they didnt have the vamos or the provari in the store.

The Legend has a battery gauge. I personally wouldn't stack 18350s but that might be a personal preference. I chain vape and I know one 18650 would not last me all day on the Legend so you should be prepared to carry an extra battery or two if you decide to get it. I actually think the IStick might be better. It has the battery gauge and it can be charged with a micro cable while using it. If you are in the car that much this would work really well - plug in the cable and vape if the battery is going dead - just get a long cable ! And the price is right. I can't remember what I paid for my Legend but the IStick is definitely less expensive.

DaniB thank you for the info on the iStick... i just watched a review on it.. i had never heard of it.. like i said im relatively new to vaping and such, just started to try and quit smoking. when i realized the flavor is so much better in vape. the iStick while nice is still a box mod... which for some reason i just can not get used to (had a buddy loan me his mvp for a couple of days) they just dont feel right in my hand and id like to make the upgrade to a battery, not a built in. i am not dead set on the legend, i did like the way it felt and the features it had. and i really dont mind buying in pieces... mod one paycheck, batterys in another, etc etc etc. i have back up for my back ups. just in case. (former military have a plan for when your plan goes to ...., that kind of thing) pretty much im just looking to upgrade without going full mech just yet. right now i am just researching and trying to get a price point. and the whole idea of rebuilding coils intrigues me. and to admit to myself i think the legend just caught my eye cause it was shinny hahahaha

also for the stacking thing, i dont think i would do it. i dont understand why if i can fit a 18650 why not just go that route.

(damn my brain isnt working tonight, i keep forgetting what i wanted to type)

lol - my brain is never working ! I understand liking the feel of the Legend. It is a nice piece. And as long as you don't mind carrying extra batteries I think you will be happy with it. I also understand not liking box mods. I have a few but they are not something I carry around with me. They sit on my desk and I usually only use them at home. The IStick is a little different from the regular box mod. It is really small and curved so it fits in your hand really nicely. It is about the size of 2 Bic lighters if you taped them together side by side. Anyway - not trying to convince you to get the Istick, just wanted to give you a little more info. I'm sure you'll make the right choice for you.

BTW - you sound like my son (former Army) - have a plan, a backup plan and a backup for the backup!
