We are out of BLUE right now , I have more on order

That "new" blue is hot, and I generally don't favor blue; I'm the one who emailed about any chance of getting that blue for the Infinity Pro ! I don't even know how to use tanks yet (new vaper who has moved from pre-filled to filling my own cartomizers, using eGo battery currently), but figure I'll order everything at once and when I graduate to that level, I'll have what I need. Plus with all the fine folks here and their great wisdom, hoping I'll be able to learn quickly.

You sound exactly like me JCB1, I had all the gear in my cart not knowing what to do with any of it (true story), but guess what? The fine folks here took me by the hand and explained everything I needed to know and then some. Oh, and I was using it all (M1A1 included, and punching my own cartos) within days of receiving it!

You're gonna love it!

908Tracy,

I can't wait; so excited!!

I have a question already, if anyone can answer. I could SWEAR I read here, someone stated they fill up the cartomizer the same as they used to and then put it in the tank, fill it up and on they go. If the cartomizer is punched, isn't it leaking before you even get it in the tank?? Or is there really no time to leak if you get it in quickly?

P.S., a Jersey girl, huh? Does the 908 in your name have anything to do with your location (North/Central) NJ?, you know like what's your exit, LOL? I'm North Jersey, by the way.

You betcha!!! Nice to see a fellow Jerseyian here!!! I'm northwest Jersey. :) 908=area code ;)
I punch my carto first, then drip like I always did pre-tank days, from the top about 15 or so drops, slide it in the tank and fill the tank through the fill port. (screw in the side of the tank) I never get leaking, although I assumed I would with those holes punched. I do a few dry hits, just because and let it sit for a few minutes, then it's ready to go and works like a charm everytime!

HTH!

908Tracy,

I'm in the 973 area code, we are probably not all that far from one another! Speaking of Jerseyans; ever any meet ups/events that you are aware of? I'm a visual person and would love to meet up with folks so I can see/learn.

How do you fill your tank? With a syringe through the side (think I read that somewhere, too) or just from the top? I'm a little worried about the screw business....

JCB1,

Funny you mention meet ups....there was one held in Washington NJ (not far from me at all) when I first started vaping. I didn't go, because I literally just landed in ECF and didn't have much knowlege of anything at the time. Kicking myself now though! If there is ever another meet up there I'd love to go. :) I will look for the Jersey meet up thread and PM you with it. I haven't checked it lately though.

I fill my tank with the syringe that Mike sells here which is part of his tank rebuild kit. It works awesome! Don't be afraid of that screw, it's your friend! hahaha ;) I've never filled it any other way.

The M1A1 has a screw in the side specifically for easy filling without having to disassemble the tank. It's a thumb screw with a knurled head so you can remove it and reinsert it by hand. The other nice thing is that it is long enough to hold the carto in place, preventing it from sliding up and down inside the tank. I use a syringe to fill through my tank holes, it's just the easiest and least messy, plus you don't lose much juice, if any, in the process.

Lol, I don't even own one but I used the screw hole method in my homemade syringe tank mods. I've been reading waaaay too much about tanks lately but it's paying off. I'm paying about $30 worth of syringes and screws to make 10 of my own tanks. $3 a piece isn't a bad deal and they work beautifully. I guess all the reading and research is paying itself off. Now, if I could just find a way to make a carto last forever...lol.

I think I'm getting closer. I have heard fantastic things about ikenvape's fusion and platinum cartos so I ordered some to try out. Apparently, they last a very long time. I think that part of the problem is that I vape 100%VG juices that are very thick. I decided it was time to thin them with some distilled water and I think it's really going to help. I really expected a big drop off in flavor but I genuinely couldn't tell. That and my cartomizers now will wick properly, I think it's a huge step in the right direction.
