Well, that's what they SAY they're going to send me, Fedor--I'll reserve final judgment until I receive the correction. However, I have no real reason to doubt that I'll receive it, so hey...

As for the 4-hole vs. 2-hole, have a look at the brass ring (about 1/2 mm wide) at the very bottom of the atomizer. That will either have 2 or 4 holes--the M401s I've gotten from litecig had 2, and the newer ones from this place have 4.

These units still going strong for you Fedor?

Yeap....i got no complaints for the M402 at all. This thing is awesome. You got to get used to the cut off though, or get yourself an extra set to help beat the cut off.

The M201 is starting to show some signs of weakening but i'll post that after i'm sure. Even so, it still kicks the as* out of every DSE801 that i've ever owned.

Let us know how it goes.

Edit: don't forget to purchase extra parts and carts...

Well I just ordered 2 starter kits along with a few boxes of carts/parts.. we'll see how it goes :D

How long do these carts last Fedor?

Sorry for the questions lol, I'm new to this and very excited/paranoid lol..

I'm assuming that you are asking about the M402 cos the pen style carts are pretty much the same for all models.

The carts hold lesser juice than the 901 but for some reason, lasts longer between top ups. It vaporises the juice much better than the 901.

I have never counted the number of puffs for any e-cigarette. I always lose count or forget that i'm counting. Thats why i can only compare. But i can say that I'm a 2-3ml smoker a day and i top up the carts between 4-8 times a day. I know, big variance but it really depends on my activity for the day.

Don't worry bout the questions. I'm just worried that I don't know enough to answer you. Update us when you receive it.

Fedor I just ordered 2 M402's from Absolutely eCigs. I have never heard about e-cigarettes until one of my buddies came around with a Smoking Everywhere piece of junk he bought in the mall for $100 2 days ago. I was still amazed, have been reading this forum all day...Leaford, you are the E-cig king. Fedor you're up there too my friend. I basically was looking for the most realistic looking e-cig I could find at the best quality, obviously a supermini. I understand the pen styles are better, and that there are enough cautions floating around the forum about superminis, but when i'm out in public or with my friends I want to blend in, not look like I'm smoking a Bic pen, just me personally...I understand there are many tradeoffs for my need to conform with the analog smokers. So I read what Fedor had to say and bought two 402's today, white and brown standard, with 2 extra atomizers, and a bunch of different flavoured replacements to play with until I buy some liquid.

They seemed very helpful at Absolutely E-Cigs. I put in a duplicate order by mistake and they immediately refunded my accidental order right away. So far a great sign of good service.

A few questions for you Fedor (or anyone else) if you don't mind:
1- How long did it take for you to receive the order from Absolutely E-Cigs...I'm ancy!
2- What liquid do you use with your M402? or just cartridges?
3- I understand that the 402 is the same diameter as the 401 just a bigger battery (200 mah opposed to the 402's 150 mah battery). Do you know if I can purchase a 401 battery for my 402 or are the 2 not compatible?
4- Has anyone seen a clamshell hard case floating around for the 402 that can carry the e-cig, an extra batt, and maybe an extra cart?
5- I saw Leaford gave the 401 a pretty stellar review. I was wondering if anyone is aware of any other differences in performance between 401 and 402 other than an obviously shorter battery life...(25% shorter doing the math)
6- Lastly, are there any people reading that might not agree that the m401/402's only differ in battery life. Would it be silly for me to pick up a 401 as well?

Thanks everyone!

Leaford you need to come out with a 402 review!

Hope you find my response just as good as theirs...lol..

1. It took me a week to arrive but I was in Cambodia at that time. Judasburrito's order took 18 days! It would be good to see how long yours take to arrive cos they replied to Judasburrito saying that his order was the odd one. They said all US orders arrived within 10 days. If what they mean is 10 working days, then it could be 2 weeks. I guess we'll just have to see..

2. I buy my liquid also from a China supplier that is not listed on this forum. What can I say? I'm a sucker for cheap stuff direct from the Mainland. However, there are many reputable liquid sellers you can find here on the forums that are located in the US. I hear they are all superb although I have not tried any.

3. I'm not sure about battery compatibility but I'm pretty sure it is interchangeable cos the atomiser is exactly the same. Its safer if you just check with them.

4. Don't know much bout cases. Never owned a single one.

5. I'm no reviewer but the M402 battery is VERY impressive. Try it when yours arrive and let us know.

6. The only difference for me is that the M401 comes in woodgrain battery but not the M402. I've placed an order for the M401 in woodgrain battery so i hope its not a silly thing to do....LOL

By the way, its good that you took advantage of the shipping fee and ordered extra. If not, it really wouldn't be worthwhile.

Depends how you smoke them, but usually about 10 cigarettes or so.

This was the same reason I decided to go with a 402. After reading about them, and Fedor's stellar review, it seemed like a no brainer. I can't wait for these things to get here!

My next venture will be finding some juice to get.. seems like it might be a little cheaper, I roll my own now as is, I'm a fan of keeping costs down :)

I'm in the same boat as you rkenist. I bought a few different flavored carts to play with until I can figure out the best liquid for me. I bought about 30 extra carts. I intend to keep all the empties and refill them as I go. We'll see about this whole dripping process when I get the 402...doesnt seem like it would be good for the atomizer but all the pros dont seem to have a problem with it.

Has anyone done a video review of the 402? and has anyone compared the 402 to the Mirage?

Shame after checking with them that Absolutely E-cigs only sell the m201 in white now as well- no funky colours :( Is this the only place that sells the M201 retail rather than in bulk? I love my 801 penstyle but I kill atomisers by the truckload (having to send two more back to my supplier tomorrow) so at the moment I'm mainly using my intellicig evo. I'd love to get a more reliable penstyle.

Anyone ever been to this supplier, centraltrade (dot) eu. you have to buy in bulk, however 6 full sets of m401 for $100 usd, a 10 lot of 20mg e-liquids in various strengths in over 47 flavours for $37.85 usd. This seems like a steal...if anyone has ever used these guys please do share, or is this too good to be true.

Sorry if this isn't posted in the right place, I saw m401's on the site which is why I posted here...but hopefully someone knows about them.

I just checked the absolutelyecigs website and if you wanna order from them, please do so before 16th of January, before 4pm (their local time).

If not, your order will only get shipped after their holidays on the 4th or 5th Feb...

I just checked with a friend from the US who ordered from them and he got his stuff in 8-9 days. Took 4-5 days to reach the US and another 3-4 days to reach his doorsteps. Customs must be a b*tch in the US...
