Got my 402 in the mail Wed., from litecigusa...first of all Shawn is awesome to deal with. Talked with me on the phone Thurs., to give some tips about re-filling/leaking, etc... Helped a lot as of course I have some newbie issues that need to be resolved. But his customer service and product are top notch, highly recommended!

Got on here yesterday and found tons of helpful tips, so I'm already on my way with some other issues.

This thing works awesome, I'm very impressed with everything now that I've learned some things to make it easier and more efficient.

Actually not a huge fan of the menthol pre-filled carts or the juice, and I've been smoking menthols for almost 25 years. Weird, but it's not blowing me away...my wife on the other hand loves it. I do like the cappachino flavor a lot though.

Buying my wife her own kit this week and will load up on some different flavors, will come back with more review as time goes on.

Very happy to be vaping and I've averaged about 4 real smokes a day since!

MidwestVapor now has 201 parts. How do those things hold up by the way.

Well I have an M201 atty that's on its fourth month... Then again i have a M401 atty on its forth month as well so... lets just say I'm a firm believer in Smoore products. The batteries also also pretty robust. I sacrificed one of my batteries for Mods, and the other... well the connection from the battery tube was coming off, so i decided to make a 901->M201 adapter for my upcoming Prodigy. When i took a look at the mic switch/board, it was completely soaked in liquid from dripping, yet before i tore it off it was still working perfectly. If that's not a testament to reliability then I'm not too sure what is.

There have been complaints in some of the production runs, but with the volume being produced its no surprise that some QC issues will appear. One of my M201 batts suffered form an inconsistent cutoff, and right now one of my M401 batteries is malfunctioning (the led will not shut off, and the mic-switch in unresponsive well at least i have an analog looking flashlight:evil:). So, two out of the 16 batteries that i've owned are/were faulty (one catastrophocally so). Thus, I'm not saying they're perfect, but have a resonably good, if not great track-record with me.

Glad to hear your enjoying the M401. Among the many things that you'll come to realize when vaping is the fact that NONE of the e-liquids will come close to thier analog counterpart (if you quit analogs completely you'll actually be happy at this realization).

Not worried about the menthol, with the huge selection of flavors from litecig...I'll find several I'll like I'm sure. Thinking about the Arctic Mint which may do it for me on the menthol front. But Dr. Pepper, Vanilla, Chocolate, and a few others sound pretty promising...:)

holy crap...read the whole thread in basically one sitting. It's 4:30 in the afternoon...time to goto bed! But first!!!

I bought the Evolution from innovapor.com(real new at this but i'm almost positive that it is a M402). Have had it for 2 weeks on friday. Got 3 batteries\3 atomizers\2 USB chargers\awesome pelican case and quite a few carts\e-liquids. Noah and Mark are both excellent at customer service. Decided on the Evo brand because most the time you get what you pay for. I am still learning how to get the most out of it, but I am happy I went with the M4xx series and also glad that I went with a quality build for my first PV. Everything worked like a charm except for 1 atomizer that was real weak to start with and then died last night. Contacted Noah and although he sounded abit surprised that the atomizer went(guess they don't arrive DOA often), he immediately offered to send a new one with my next order or if I needed it right away he would do that too. Not able to compare this too anything, as it is my first PV, but here are a few thoughts.

Great "size", I like my nicotine, but I also just enjoy the act of smoking and this size is perfect for getting the feeling that you are "almost" smoking.

The EcoPure juice is real nice. Nothing to compare it too, but it produces quite abit of vapor and the taste is nice. I also like that the carts have caps to them(Do they all?)

VERY stylish! Wherever I whip this bad boy out it ALWAYS gets attention. Black with a blue LED looks great!

Auto switch is just about perfect, nice easy draw turns it on, yet I have a lil fan blowing right on me as I work on my computer and the switch doesn't turn on accidently(from the fan).

Real happy with almost everything about it except 1 thing, the battery life. I was expecting ALOT longer life with the battery. On a full charge just pulled from the charger, i get about 1 1/2 to 2 hours usage(on all 3 batteries using both chargers to make sure 1 of them wasnt a lil weak). I vape alot, but it does get put down so it's not a straight vaping session. If the battery was charged the night before and left to sit, I get from :57 minutes to about :70 minutes(again on multiple batteries).

All in all I am happy with the purchase and it is doing it's job of helping me to get away from the carcinogens in the tobacco smoke. I still have a few smokes left in the pack that was opened almost 2 weeks ago. I don't plan on quitting "vaping", but i do plan on getting to a 0 nic juice sooner or later.

This is prob a lil disjointed and missing some information, but I am dog tired after reading thru this whole thread and not getting any sleep last night. I would def recommend the Evo to anyone just getting into vaping that doesn't wanna mess around with QC issues. Although 1 of the atomizers was bad, I think I just got abit unlucky there.

Now off to bed where i am almost positive I will be dreaming of building my first NicoStick! Can't wait!!

Welcome Bryan (wow I'm surprised no one took that name before)!
For all intensive purposes the EVO is basically an M401/2, If you got the smaller battery (cant remember I think it was Genie) then your vape time will be reduced, and may want to order the "Mighty Atom" (401), but even three 402 batteries should last you the entire day (or maybe I don't vape as much as i thought i did). In any case if you're near a wall outlet or computer for most of the day, I would suggest a USB PT. Check with Innovapor first to make sure this does not void any warranty you may have before ordering one though.

Welcome Bryan ...

Thnx for the welcome Ruuku, just wanted to let you know I get alot of info from your posts and i appreciate that you take the time to write them.

Innovapor will be getting the PT's for the Evo early next week(monday is the 20th), I will have to wait 2 more weeks or so to order one, but this should really help save on my battery life recharge cycles.

My 401 arrived 2 days ago.. and i'm still amazed about this. It is my first e-cig and i didn't know/see anyone else smoking e-cigs. So it was something totaly new for me.
I order it based mainly on this thread, so i thought to post my impressions here.
I tried to keep my expectations low to not be disappointed if they would not work for me, but 'till now i'm extremely happy with these. First, the build quality and packaging - very good quality, better than expected(got it from ruyandirect). Battery life, very good, i'm going throug 2 batteries/day and my work is computer related so i sit all day. Vapor production also very good, there is a difference from analogs, but it doesn't bother me at all. Throat hit - more than enough, probably it has something to do with the e-liquid i got(high), i would probably go with medium liquid on my next order since i smoked Kent lights before.

But the most amazing part for me was dipping. I used a cart only last night when i was out in a pub, the rest of the time i was dipping. The thing is that i didn't expected to last that long.. with a dip i can go about 1 hour of vaping(even more sometimes) - i really reallly didn't expect that. I was actually worried that it will be annoying to keep dipping.

And of course i didn't smoke analogs at all.. didn't even think about it, the same feeling you have when you had a nice big meal and someone is asking you if your hungry.

So now i sit here, having a glass of red bordeaux(wich by the way tastes better now after 2 days of not smoking), and vaping happily, with my little black wonder :D

P.S. the look on the waitress's face last night was priceless, it was a dim light pub i was in to, and she was sitting all night staring at my blue led with a puzzled look

hey bocosb glad you are enjoying the 401. Your initial experience sounds much like my own. And like you I chose the 401 based on the great info in this thread.

So just a few suggestions for you... if you are sitting at a computer most of the day get yourself the usb passthrough. Less battery juggling and it works great. Even better if you get an extra atomizer and leave it hooked up as it's own device.

And if you get bored of the 401 give the 201 a try. In my time with it I've find it's more forgiving of lower quality juice (better flavor) and produces a better throat hit at a lower nic level. I keep my 401 loaded with 36mg for a blast now and then but have moved towards the 201 as my main device. The cart capacity is great (I quickly got tired of dipping/dripping).

Sorry guys I haven't gotten around to converting the smoore 401 passthrough to the 201 yet. Need to spend some time figuring out a non destructive way to get this battery apart...

OR...you could just order a 201 USBPT! M201 USB Passthrough

The M201 pretty much blows everything out of the water in terms of taste. The only problem with this is stronger flavors are REALLY strong in it. Marlboro is usually a pretty strong liquid, and its fine in my M401,510,901,801. But in the 201 is a completely different beast.

Fedor- I thought you adjusted to 18mg...
In any case, have you heard anything on the M801 models? Are they really being produced by Smoore? If so I might have to pick some of them up.
I'm using the M201 atty on Pure Smokers Prodigy with great results... flavor/vapor/throat hit is exceptional at both 3.7V and 6.0 volts. Its actually quite hard to go back to using just a plain old M401. When you get a chance, be sure to pick up a M201 PT... This is how they were meant to be used!

18mg has always done the trick for me and it still does. I just wanna try the 36mg to see if it suits me better. Also, i could finally try diluting it to double the amount. Somehow, i don't think i will fancy the loss of taste.

The M801 is indeed produced by Smoore. However, i was told that it is 100% the same except for how it looks. The ONLY difference is that it resembles a 2 piece on the exterior. Not enough to attract my attention imo. I wonder if AEC would sell them anytime soon.

From what i understand, Smoore has not come out with an M201 PT. Is what you are referring to a DSE801 PT that is compatible with M201?

The only other place I'm aware of for M201 parts is litecigusa.com - I think choices are the stainless or black. I believe they're Smoore, but will take a closer look as I've got a handful of each.

have you taken a closer look yet?
I have a 201 from litecig, and it's a nice device and all
but my dse 801 (imo) has better flavor, better throat hit, easier draw, and more vapor.

I wonder if this 201 is the same as the smoore device?

the 201 i received took a good week to break in.
it seems battery life is a little longer than the dse 801 (but I do notice the batteries occasionally go off when the drawer where they're stored is opened.)
seems less fiddling - more consistent (yet lighter) hits w/ 201.
and seems to more efficiently use cart/liquid.

wish I could meld the two.
the 801 I have gives the most satisfying and flavorful hit, but I have to fuss with it a bit more than the 201.

Well Litecig carries mainly Smoore products, and even ones that are not on the website like the M801, so i figured that it should be a Smoore product.

Thanks for the info on the M801, I was considering getting one, but if its all the same than i too feel its not worth it. I guess they had to change the battery thread to make it appear 'invisible', but if the changes are only cosmetic then i can live with my 401s for now.

As for the 36, yep, adding VG will cut flavor, but it does produce a ton of vapor. One of the the things i apprecieate in the M401 is its lower heat, so VG dosen't have the funny waxy taste that sometimes happens in my 510.

AFAIK the only maker of any model M201 is Smoore, I haven't ordered from LiteCig (yet... I need a few atomizers) but they should be Smoores. Just remember that reviews are, by nature subjective. Wegster, some of the other people who posted, and I feel that the M201 is gives better flavor than the 801.

From the sound of it, your 201 its definately an M201. The fact that it has a Mic-Switch, sealed the deal. Overall, i do believe that the 801 does give more vapor, however this is nullified for me by the lack of flavor in the vapor, especially with weaker flavors like the teas, and even some RY4s.

That's good to hear about the 401 going strong. I have had mine for 3 weeks now and love it. I just ordered a 403 kit. I am curious about how long the 403 battery will last me.
Hey, does anyone have the usb charger that plugs into a USA AC adapter for the M401?
It never seems like it is fully charged. It lasts a long time so I guess it is fully charged but the green LED switches to red for a second even after 8 hours of charging.
