Just make shur you get the one in the Black box not the one in the charger pack. They look the same but the one in the black box has a better battery and the suction switch is much better.
This one http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18431

I didn't know that. Dang. May have to hit dealextreme then just to try one. They had those things cheap cheap.

The auto switches are currently the norm for a good reason. In the old days, the satisfaction we get out of an ecig depends on how we drag. We called it the "primer puff". I don't even hear anyone mentioning the primer puff anymore. The invention of auto switches got rid of that. Every puff is now much more consistent.

For that reason alone, i prefer to stay with the auto switches although loud noises sometimes triggers it.

while i can see the positives for the autos, my manual battery for the em401 is AMAZING. this thing puts out vapor, i'm talking HUGE CLOUDS. compared to the videos i've seen of 3.7 mods with 510s, this thing out vapes them without question.

So these are the m4xx with the suction switch, or is it a different kit altogether, guess it doesn't matter since they are so cheap anyways... Also thanks Wench for the info on the manuals!

Feder great review. i myself have the M402 and its fantastic. i am new to e cigs been doing it for a month. im sure there are a lot of duplicates of the 402 out there but to all that are interested make sure you get the Smoore version of the M401 02 03. From what i was told from suppliers the Smoore version m series is made well. i get loads of vapor. i use the supplied carts and i drip. i dont think i can post web sites yet so if your interested in where i bought it and the deals i got pm me for website and info. I am very pleased. Again great review man Happy vaping

It is being sold in the USA as a Revolver Elite. Pretty decent all-around package :)

Nikko, I have to ask you.... I ve seen your review for the revolver and read plentty of reviews and hype about it. but I saw your post and I am wondering what are your final thoughts on the revolver over the 401... and also, is the new model from smoores exactlly the same as the revolver? price?
I have gone through hours of posts to get my second e-cig but cant decide. I bought the red dragon E9, which I now realize its not as good as I thought, one battery is dead and plenty of other problems...

What would you recommend?, should I pre order the revolver elite? buy it from AEC?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I'm not Nikko, but I can answer some of your questions. The M 702 is the the Revolver Elite. AEC kits come with 1 battery and 1 atomizer for $41 plus $15 shipping. Revolver Elite Duo kits come with 2 batteries and 2 atomizers for $60 plus FREE shipping. Revolver should be getting their stock in soon. They are a better value than AEC for this particular product (not to hate on AEC because I know how much Fedor likes them) plus the Revolvers look so much cooler!

ps. I have one. and I love it! :)

Incidentally I will be ordering an M201 soon, I really want a penstyle...

After reading all these posts...I ordered myself the M401 with the manual switch batteries.

I've been using a 901 for almost 6 months and it just didnt add up. I was always having to switch the battery or atomizer around to see which wasnt working properly. Then i usually couldnt figure it out, and would grab a cigarette.

I also ordered the pc thingy...can't remember what it's called..but I think I will enjoy that while surfing around the net.

Thanks everyone for the great advise !!

I didnt even know you were suppost to clean these things..haha.. They really should come with a manuel on how to properly use and care for them.

Can't wait till i get to try them.

hello
I have a 801, and a 510, but nothing I have used has come even close to the m201, the throat hit is great, no primer puffs needed I did a magnum mod for the m201 and that is prretty much what I use.

wt

On Fedor's recommendation I got a m201 a couple of months ago....I must admit it is the best e-cig. I vape a lot... about 4-5ml of liquid a day and I use the m201 exclusively....and I only drip. The Throat it is almost as good as the 510 atty but the m201 atty doesn;t fade at all after a few days of use like the 510. I have rotated two attys for a couple of months now and they hit just like they were brand new....I was chucking 510 attys after a week of use. The batteries seem to last a very long time...far better than 801 batteries.

There is one thing I don;t like about the m201....the batteries seem to shut off for a couple of minutes after taking a few puffs in a row. Anyway to get around that? I wish I could find manual batteries for them.

No manual batteries, but you do have options. I personally use a Vapre51 mod from TrueSmoker and LiteCig. It is a 'branded' VP1 from VaprLife. There is also the VP2 model from VaprLife. Accepts 801 and M201 atomizers (has hole for airflow), with adapters for 510 and 901.

Don't know if it's been mentioned or not before, but the manual states that taking 16 draws (ie enough to see the led light up briefly) in less than 1 minute will permanently bypass the shut-off on the battery. I've done this on all my batteries since I got my first 201 and have had no issue with them shutting me down! :)

Thanks for the suggestion....I really want to get one of those mods....my only concern with these type of mods is what happens when the switch fails? I had mods like this myself and the switches will die eventually...but replacing the switch is the problem.

I tried this out and so far it seems to have worked out...Thank you, thank you and thank you. I really should read the manuals but usually they are written in very poor English and are almost impossible to decipher.

IF any one else wants to try this out...all I did was blow on the battery threads end 16 times....if you blow on the battery threads the LED will light up just as if you're taking a draw..since these are noise activated batteries.

HA! It worked!

I just got my M201 today and quickly discovered that if you pull until it shuts off, you have to wait for two minutes before you hit it again. Drove me nuts for a few minutes, though!

yeah - it drove me nuts too which is why I resorted to the manual!

Unfortunately the manual that my latest 201 came with is not the same as the original 22 page one that came with a near cigar-like box. This fold-out new manual does not contain this information that was found on page 19 of the 'real' manual. Maybe Shawn just knew I already had the better manual? lol

The fold-out aslo doesn't talk about the auto clean mode that is activated every 1500 puffs. Of course I'm pretty sure that I've surpassed 1500 puff on all my batts and didn't notice the self-clean mode or just thought the blinking lights were the battery needing to be charged yet again...

But all-in-all the 201 is one heck of a great device!
