m401 Atty Lifespan

Anyone else having the issue of certain attys dying an early death while others thrive?

I bought several sets of m401 attys over the last two months, most of them coming from two different suppliers. One set seemed to die almost instantly (several dropping to almost no vapor in less than 24 hours), while the others usually went for three weeks or more before I felt the need to clean or replace them. The shorter lived ones also had a lingering smell/taste of what I can only imagine is some primer fluid left inside that I couldn't blow out. I ended up having to use my strongest fluid (Aroma's clove in 26mg) just to overpower it.

Am I the only one with this issue? Until I can figure out what I'm doing wrong (if I'm doing anything wrong at all), I'll be sticking with my second supplier, as their attys taste wonderful right out of the box. Cheaper, too.

did the supplier who sold you the attys that didn't work right offer a warranty?

That is my first clue about who to buy from......if they don't offer a warranty, I will not buy from them.

You know, I don't think they did. The first time I bought attys from them, I was brand new and just chalked it up to not knowing what I was doing. I figured I'd accidentally killed them somehow. Now, though, I'm not so sure.

I'm probably just going to stick with the other retailer, as theirs last long enough to get the ten bucks' worth out of the attys before dying out.
