M401 battery charging issue

My M401 battery isn't working properly. It lights up when I inhale, but I don't get any vapor. When I try to charge it, it does'nt do the blinking thing, and the charger light doesn't change to red. Any ideas? It didn't fade to black, it just died suddenly.

I've seen that a couple of times with my 401s. Both times, simply putting the battery in a different charger caused it to 'wake up' and charge & vape as normal afterwards. No idea of the cause but if you've got a spare charger tucked away, it's worth a shot....

I have not yet run into a problem with my 401. If the LED lights on the battery, that is generally a good indication the battery is working. Do you know that your atomizer is working?

If your battery is already charged, it may not blink when put on the charger.

Try checking you atomizer, as Breakfastchef mentioned.

Sound like the battery and the atomizer arn't making a connection when they are screwed together. Try tightening it a tad bit more after you think it's already as tight as it will go.

The center button contact may have been pushed down into the battery too far to make contact with the atomizer. (It mounted on a rubber sleeve.) You can try a paperclip to put into the center hole of the button and GENTLY twist and pull it up closer to the surface. Don't pull too hard or far, as you can break the wire.

Still not working. I pulled gently on the center contact. It doesn't work with either of my atomizers, which work on the other battery fine. I just don't get it. It lights up great when I suck on it, but nothing comes out. And it seems harder to pull on it. Also, the atomizer doesn't get hot when I try to vape on it.

Looks like we may be looking at a bad battery. I have 4 EVO batteries that charge and light up like they should but won't fire the atomizer. No matter how long I charge them, the only put out 2 volts. Not nearly enough to run an atomizer. All 4 are in my parts box.
