I received 2 M401 Manual batteries from Innovapor at the beginning of November. One of them has stopped charging and the button cover has fallen off. When I place it on the charger, the LED turns red but it never charges; meaning no LED activity when I can get the button cover back on, and no heating of the atty.

Now the second battery is dying. Just this morning when it was on the charger I noticed the LED was orange (what's this mean?). I disconnected and reconnected and it turned red, then green when it finished. But - now I'm trying to use it - the LED activates 3 out 5 presses, but no atty activity - no vapor or taste.

What's up with these batteries? Are they defective or is it just my luck? All of the auto batteries I've been using are acting fine, and 2 of those I've had longer than the M401s.

Hi there,

I had very similar problems with the M4 batteries (you can read my post about my experience in this forum under the heading, "Extremely Disappointed: Rotten Service, Products Substandard."

So, you're not alone in wondering about the quality of these batteries! I have two of these that stopped working entirely - the LED won't come on for either, no matter how long you try charging it. One of them seems like it wants to work, but gets burning hot to the touch (the actual battery does) when you depress it, the other does absolutely nothing, and both of the buttons get 'stuck' when you depress them.

I was surprised the last time I looked at Innovapor.com to see these batts going for $9 - in my opinion, they shouldn't be selling them at all, and since I know they're aware of some of the issues, it makes it seem like they are trying to pawn off substandard equipment ubercheap on unsuspecting buyers. 8-o

I'd suggest trying to get replacements from Innovapor, but they aren't exactly johhny on the spot with customer service, either! Good luck!

We have discontinued the short M4 batteries, as they do seem to hold a shortly life span. We are replacing them with the long M4 battery, which holds up well.

If your batteries died after the 30 day warranty, I apologize that you are out of warranty. However our warranty starts when you received the batteries till the day that they stopped working. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible through email or phone for warranty replacements. We can not handle warranty work over the forums.

Please send an email to innovapor@gmail.com or call at 801-557-7773

Thank you again,

Millie

Again our apologies, the long M401 work great, also they have a longer life for each charge. We are running the 20% off sale on them, we also have some black with gold that are going really cheap, as we were sent them by accident. They are $12/each and you still get the 20% off that as well.

Use the code. m420 at checkout.

I hope this helps,

Thank you again

Millie
