My husband pulled a sneaky on my and ordered me a 702 and I just got it today! No, you can't have him!:D Anyway, how do I know if I'm charging the pcc or the battery or do they just both charge at the same time when you're charging the pcc? I assume they both charge at the same time like the 510 pcc? Regardless, it's taking too long to charge! It should only take 5 seconds! I want to play with my new toy!!!! LOL 3 hours it says on the instructions for the pcc. Wonder how long the battery takes to charge in the pcc while it's charging? I'm asking too many questions, sorry, I'm excited! I thought I wouldn't get one for at least a month and a half. I love my husband... and the 702 ain't bad either LOL

Ok, the led is green, but the little led bar is still going across, what do you suppose that means? The battery is charged, but not the pcc? hmmmmm

I don't know if the battery charges when you charge the PCC itself, never actually tried. But, once the LCD has full bars, the PCC should be fully charged.

To initiate a charge of the battery, hold down the button on the PCC for a few seconds, and the green LED should start blinking. If it determines that a charge for the battery is needed, the LED will switch to red. When checking later if it's done charging, hit the button, if it's still red it's still charging, if it's green it should be done. Each battery charge takes around 30 minutes for me.

Thanks! I guess since the light was green the battery was charged, seems to be anyway - I'm using it. I suppose since the bars aren't completely across yet, the pcc is still charging. The light is green though...

Yeah I think the LED only changes from green when charging the battery, not when charging the PCC itself. I could be wrong, can't remember.. but that sounds about right.

The only down side of this PCC I have found is when you forget to initiate the charging process. I have forgot to hold the dang button down twice and been caught with 2 dead batteries. All other PCCs begin charging upon insertion. Remember to start the charge when you insert your battery!

Yes, but unlike other PCCs (that will charge as soon as you insert into the charger), you don't have to remember to take it out once its been charged, to keep from potentially draining the PCC. Atleast that's how I understand it (only PCC I own).

I got a question about the M702 battery. I ordered 2 batteries and 2 atomizers and the M702 Smart PCC charging case. Well one battery charges properly. The other one when it try to use it the light at the end flickers and no vapor comes out. Charging case is fully charged with 5 bars. I press the button it turns green. I hold the button down and where my other battery will make the led turn red this one stays green? If the light is flickering on the battery surely it can't be dead? I tried doing the soft reset and the hard reset. I removed the battery held down the light till it flickered green and turned off, put the battery inside and held down the button again it flickers green then turns solid green and goes out? I am clueless. Someone give me a hint what could be wrong with this thing.

:D Apperently it can charge both the PCC and the battery at the same time! I had initiated a charge on my working battery and its in red light mode indicating it's charging right....so I plug in the mini usb cable and plug the usb end into the laptop and its charging the PCC I press the button and it's red indicating it is still charging the battery! It seems like I tried this using the usb to dc wall outlet adapter but it only charged the PCC. I can't confirm that yet though as for the wall adapter.

Ah I have the same problem, is it the battery then? Had it for 2 days and charged it up full today. Now it wont charge the battery, tried with the soft and hard reset, and connecting the charger to my pc for about 5 secs and disconnect it, nothing helps :( Waited two weeks for mine, and now it looks like i have to order batteries that'll take another two weeks.. daaarn. Really liked this thing, My first e-cig :) (M-702 Kit with Smart PCC Charging)

I'm having the same battery charging (within the PCC) problem others have reported. Cluelessly, I let the PCC become fully charged (all 5 bars). I've read here that a reset (hard or soft) might work.

The problem is I am not technically inclined. I know how to reset (i.e., reboot) my computer, do a battery pull on my Blackberry, and even reset my alarm clock;) ... so I'm not a total idiot. But how do I "reset" the M702? [In the meantime, I'm charging my batts in my universal USB chargers.]

Someone please respond! You can laugh:lol: at my ignorance if you like:oops:, but please provide the answer! [Is there an emoticon for begging?]

Thanks!

Below quoted from the following thread:

"Try this if you get this problem.... soft reset first, if that doesn't work then do a hard reset.
Soft reset:
1. Remove the battery from the charge slot in the PCC.
2. Hold the button until the green light comes on.
3. When the green light shuts off screw battery into the slot and charge.

Hard Reset:..
1. With battery screwed into the charging slot- hold down the button until the green light comes on and then let go.
2.As soon as the red light comes on hold the button again for 4-5 more seconds.
3. Release button and wait for the red light to turn off.
4. Press and hold button for another 4-5 seconds(while red light turns back on. If red light didn't come on second time.... u may need to do a "soft reset" first)"

Thank you, MetalPrincess! You didn't even laugh. [I did browse through many "M702" threads, but I missed that post.]

I just performed that hard reset. If it doesn't work (i.e., doesn't recharge my battery), I'll report back here. Otherwise, assume that it did work.

Either way, I appreciate your rapid and helpful response!
