I own both and I'd say pretty much the same, but I prefer the M401. My M401 produces more vapor and etc, but not by enough to be seen as a big difference. Small enough where it could very atomizer to atomizer.

I've had an M801 atomizer physically break on me, and I've seen some other people have the same problem. I think the connection makes it easier to break the atomizer personally.

M401 also has the advantage of being carried at the majority of e-cig resellers.

Thanks for the info. The m401 is so much more common and people compare it to the 510 a lot, so now I have some context for that comparison. I guess I'll stick witht he m801 and try the 510 as opposed to buying a 401

I would say that's a mistake.

I've not got an 801, but I would rate the 401 over the 510.

Everyone to his or her own.. but I my case I have had much better success with the M401 than either the 510 or the 901:rolleyes:

i wouldnt ... i have used a 401 and a 510 the throat hit was satisfying on the 510 i agree there was more flavour on the m401 and the batt life was a bit over the 510 .. but the 510 was the one that ended with the cravings after 14-20 hits

hello,
I was just wondering if the m801 from litecigusa.net is basically a m401 with different connections? Anyone know or own both? I'm still looking for better and better ecigs and would hate to drop more money on the m401if its the same quality as the m801.
thanks

The 801 and 401 are two totally different devices. The 801 has a larger cartridge capacity and larger atomizer. The 801 is longer, by almost twice, than the 401. I use 801 atomizers almost exclusively with a 401 for emergency backup.

This isn't true at all. Maybe you are thinking of the 401 vs the 201? or 901? Take a look at m801 and m401 on litecig's website.

Not sure what an m801 is but most people will think of a DES801 or clone when you say that. The 801 penstyle is well over twice the size of a 401.

Can you link an m801..I've never seen one.

Which confuses the issue further by having incorrect pictures.

On the starter kit page the battery is female & the atty is male, like a 510, but on the main spares page the batt is male & the atty is female like an m401.

Now obviously they both can't be right.

Might have been a better idea to have posted this question in the litecig forum area.
