I was working on a box that I had printed by Shapeways last year. Got out of box mods shortly after I received it. Was only $36 but was a simple prototype, didn't build in the curves etc. So the price of a comfortable box would be a bit more.

What material did you use and what was the quality like? Most of these sites price by cubic inch and whatnot so it pretty much depends on amount of material used and not so much amount of features. Though certain 3d printing methods/materials have a minimum level of detail and things get screwed up if they're not properly supported, etc. I've been throwing some ideas around in my head for a bottom feeder mod (3d printed), just need to find a good durable material to design around and a site that's not crazy expensive.

What do you guys need? I have a small lathe and mill..

I need ceramic wick cups like the CE2s have but bigger and for the ViVi Nova head so I can make a dual coil in them.
A 3D printer should be just the thing for that. I have tried turning one on my lathe with some Minnesota pipe stone but it is too soft and broke.

It was the material they call 'White, Strong & Flexible'. They didn't have silver or many other options when I ordered it. It feels pretty strong and has a sort of porous feel to it. I designed it with the intent of using it to create a cast mold that I would then add the finer detail to. Bought all the materials(clay, casting, USB chargers, chips etc) so that it would use a 3ml bottle, touch switch, and USB charger. Played around with clay and wax trying to get it just right, but didn't really have the time, patience, or artistic skill to see it through.
