So heres the pluid vs vivi nova comparision pics. Keep in mind these pics are from my iPod. The was with pluid in the tank for 2 weeks. I vaped it off and on for the first four days then it sat in my car the remainder of the time.

One thing I wanted to point out. For about a day I had the normal silica wicks in it. I then swapped to a SS wick. These pics show where. The silica wicks were. The tank is etched deeper in these spots.

The verdict: pluid will etch vivi nova tanks. No cracks were noted. The tank remained sturdy and can still be used.

Use of pluid in a vivi nova: not recommended.

Finally got a good coil on the ss wick you gave me. The first one I tried was about 1.5ohms. It got too hot for the head. My second try this morning resulted in a 2.2ohm coil. Ended up with a 7/6 wrap very little space between coils to make it fit. Had to fiddle a tiny bit to clear up hot spots. It works great. Can't wait till I get a genesis type setup.

Everything lacks flavor since pluid.
