I heard it eats them for breakfast. I have been told to have glass tanks without question.

You could just drip it, or use a carto... OR Phiniac makes the best carto tanks. (Pyrex)

I haven't tried pluid yet but I did see a tank a couple pages back that looked like it had been through a war zone after 24 hrs. I think glass or fused quartz is your only option.
