So I rolled a wick for my zap out of the 400 mesh you hooked me up with today. A bit looser in the middle but not open. Made a nice 1.6 ohm 3/2 coil with a single strand of 32ga with twisted legs. I can push my ZAP for a continuous 15 seconds at max amperage of my provari ( 2.5 amps / just over 15 watts) and I can't get a dry hit from this!

Speaking of tips, 3 people still need to contact me. If i have to contact these 3 people it will be to ask them who they would like to give the tip to. Because they lost their opportunity. They have 24 more hours. The clock is ticking.

Y'all better secure your tippy loots!

No tips offered. There was some super secret way of picking those cool enough to buy a tip. BUT I hear tell there may be more for purchase in the future.

Still curious how Our Madd scientist chose the recipients to receive the Pluid tips. This PhrOstByte person has never even posted on anyone's site, yet he has had 15 visits to his profile page. So, no riddles responded from there. Apparently, other would-be users had the same idea that I had. Maybe we can eventually get one of these elusive tips. Maybe silence IS golden or Green.

Phr0st does post, perhaps not in this thread, but he does. He's also one of the design people for the Pluid LE PV, so I'm guessing he got a tip for all the hard work he put in.

The twisted legs keep me from having hot spots where the wick can't act as a heat sink. I was constantly battling the hot spot on the leg between the wick and positive/ center post. I went with single strand for my coil to get instant heat ( no primer pull needed ).

Oh I was commenting on the flavor of Mad Murdocks 710.
