I have IBTanks, with the SS caps for pluid, but the tank that I rock the most is my Phiniac tank, I know the IBTanks are cheaper but Phiniac are thicker and I feel safer taking that one out with me. I've droped my Phiniac on the title floor at work many times and nothing has happened to it.

that's just my :2c:

When I was looking for a glass tank this is the thread that I followed it might help you too. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/314551-quest-glass-pyrex-tanks.html

I still go with ibTanked but I don't vape Pluid in a tank very often since the flavor is so subdued. If one is planning on vaping primarily out of a tank, the Phiniac is probably the better choice.

Question guys, I vape a lot of pluid. I usually vape exclusively on hybrids and genesis attys, all Ti or SS and Pyrex/FQ. I want to get a good carto tank for on-the-go vaping that can handle pluid (so Pyrex, FQ, or SS tube) that is 22mm wide (looks good on my mechanical mods). I've looked at the trap-tank, but I'm pretty sure pluid will eat through the PMME tank. So what are you guys using for a carto-tank?

I'm almost exclusively Hybrid and gennie now, but I do still keep some carto tanks around for travel, I know the tuff tanks from Vape dudes and Valleyvape both hold pluid without a problem, pyrex tanks you can't beat phiniac IMO but the sidewinders from valleyvape are a less expensive alternative, although I've broken them a lot easier than my phiniacs.. they are also much easier to fill with the thumbscrew design.

+1 on the Phiniac. I have changed over to exclusively genesis devices, but these Phiniac tanks are built like, well... tanks.

Also on that note, they are some of the nicest people I've ever met and go out of thier way to take good care of thier clients. Moorea in particular is not only a good vendor but also a spectacular person.

I know a few others have answered already as well, but I'd "think" the Vivi Nova with a metal tank would be fine as well.

Personally, I use an Ody for pocket travel. If you're willing to pay the price and want to stalk the classifieds, the Ody and Penny can't be beat. They are the only thing I use that isn't Genesis style.. :2c:

I know that. I asked what carto-tanks pluid heads like me are using.

Or do you all just use genesis attys and hybrids like me?

I don't like them either, but my Ody and Penny suggestions may be a bit steep for some, and not readily available.

I'd take a ViVi over a carto if it came to that.

I think it depends on the person, I get zero flavor from ViVi's...but I don't taste a difference in my carto vs IHY. I do notice that the IHy hits harder, but flavor is the same wonderful pluid. I just use the Ihy at home, and my cart tanks for work n stuff...and for sex...Ihy doesn't work well upside down.

Again, no particular love for the ViVi, but I really really don't like cartos...

Here are my current set-ups suitable for travel and "other" situations. :)
