So just to get this discussion off the other thread I thought I would startup where we left off. For my "Mad Scientist Lab":

Currently I have a 2' x 4' table w/ chair.
Retractable florescent light that swings/moves into position.
I use my MV 902 kit box for a handy q-tip holder (nice with the magnetic latch)
Old Shoe box to hold extras.

Instead of a tool/tackle box I am looking for some kind of Jewelry box type of setup with a lot of small individual pull out drawers. One drawer per flavor big enough to also hold that flavors pipette. Plus a few extra bigger drawers. I have it in my minds eye and will eventually find something suitable.

--------------------------------------------------------

So what is your setup?? Might give the rest of us some ideas.

You could get a craft storage unit, has drawers.. cheap at walmart or target?

One of my customers got a really nice unit, a goldilocks box he called it from Sears for around 15 bucks

Another person I saw had a stanley deep drawer case. He said his case held 15ml bottles up right :) sounds nice!

I have a small craft/hardware storage unit, has 9 little clear plastic drawers up top and one larger deep drawer on the bottom which I just discovered can hold a ton of 6ml bottles standing up! It's actually been in storage for years, I have new plans for it now. :2cool:

I might try making a long rack/holder for flavorings along the wall of my lab-to-be out of black foamcore - got my Xacto knife ready, just need the time. Same idea as the little rack I made for 12 LorAnn's bottles in the kitchen a couple of years ago, which works great. (Darn, now I'm hungry for butter cookies, LOL)
