Aww, man, that has happened to me as well! I KNOW better than to watch Dances with wolves and it is such a good movie, and I think I'll be alright this time... Nope. Cry like a baby, snotty nose, swollen eyes, and headache afterwards.

The Notebook got me too, big time, but I had never seen it or heard of it, just happened on it and thought it looked good. And it WAS good, but whew, the waterworks! I won't fall for that again!

Aww The Notebook gets me too. Also, in "Steel Magnolias"..the scene when Sally Field is in the graveyard gets me everytime. Well a lot of that movie does once Shelby gets sick.

Quote: I'm fine! I can jog all the way to Texas and back, but my daughter can't! She never could! Oh God! I am so mad I don't know what to do! I wanna know why! I wanna know *why* Shelby's life is over! I wanna know how that baby will *ever* know how wonderful his mother was! Will he *ever* know what she went through for him! Oh *God* I wanna know *why*? *Why*? Lord, I wish I could understand!

I think it has to do with having kids... before I had kids I was fine.. I watched dances with wolves dry eyed, old yeller heck it was just a dog... then I had kids... I cry at commercials now... cartoons, the barbie movies even make me cry... I blame it on the kids....

Not I. I've always had a soft spot.....as far back as I can remember. I feel ya, though.....I cried at the very beginning of Lion King - the circle of life song - not because anything sad was happening (in fact, it was joyous) it was the music.

I went to a wedding last week, the ONLY person I knew at the thing was my husband - and I bawled in the church.

Oh Yea the Notebook, thats a tearjerker for sure. I have Steal Magnolias on tape and know the entire diolog word for word. I did a chemo type treatment for a year that made me very sick and Steal Magnolias was kind of a comfort thing along with the Golden Girls lol. I recently saw Marley and Me, being an animal nut especially dogs, I sobbed. Legends of the Fall is another water works for me, Brad Pitt is just so damn HOT, maybe I cry cause he's with Jolie now LOL!

Actually most of the Color Purple does it to me, MaryKay.

The last 2 scenes of the Fisher King turns on the waterworks for me as well. My goateed, heavily tattooed and pierced macho looking hubby can't even watch it...said it broke his heart.

" I really miss her Jack. Is it ok if I miss her now?"
