I made this one because my wife and I decided to go for a weekend kayak trip to a remote island. We are going to be out for a couple days and needed another PV that we can take advantage of. I hope we will have enough battery life for the both of us!

This one is a little 2x AAA box mod. It is running a 510 connection with 2x 10440's running parallel.
It turned out kinda ugly because of my big button... and the fact that I under estimated how small the box was. :p I was halfway done with it before I realized I didn't have a switch.

I will have to fill it up with some epoxy before bed.

She vapes really well! As for the battery life, I have no Idea.. Have to wait and see.

I've never tested this, but have heard you can estimate the time a batt will last by: every 100 mAh ~= 1 hour. So if the 10440s are ~350mAh and you have them in parallel, should last around 7 hours.

Still no NiMH AAAs for the Puck? I have four sets of NiMHs (1000mAh) for my Pucks and usually put fresh ones in in the morning and change them out when I get home from work. But these batts in my Puck will vape all day (5:30am - ~10-11:00 pm) with fairly heavy vaping.

ETA:  Cool mod, by the way. And good work with the switch. A modder should always be able to improvise. :D

@TomCatt Thanks for reference to bat life. I haven't heard anything that could really give me an answer. I was thinking that the 2x 10440's will probably be close to the same life as a single 14500. I hope that its close anyway, thats what I was counting on while planning my weekend.

and yeah... still no NiMh batts :( not sure if its because of my laziness or forgetfulness! Either way I still have standard batts for emergencies.

@Seaweedshark thanks, glad you like it. You really should try making one Man! Honestly, it is very simple to do.. As long as you have some common sense. This little mod only has 6 solder points. That is nothing! I was always the kind to avoid ANY kind of wiring like the plague. I am glad I tried it now! Think I need to go to the "GUmmyFord Clinic"

If you decide to make one and have ANY questions about it don't hesitate to ask!
