wish i was set up at home to do any kind of wood working. just dont have the tools or the space for the tools.....someday....

i have every thing, including some really awesome looking birch wood..just no time right now :(

question ?? what would you people be willing to pay for that simple looking piece of wood ???

That would really depend on the kind of wood and the finish. $10-$15 for some thing simple... A whole lot more if your talking simple and it is something like Zebra wood with a nice hand rubbed wax finish.

Amazingly... Simple can be hard.

I've been thinking about making something similar, but I want to have my charger sunk down flush with the wood, and a hole drilled out the side to plug my charger into it. Getting it to fit right without cracking is becoming a pain. You probably have better tools at work you should try it. Yours looks really good as it is, but I'm gona keep trying to get my charger to flush fit in it. If it ever works out I'll post some pics. What wood did you use?

Man, I gotta get a job like yours where I can make things like that while on the clock.

At my job, they actually expect me to do company related work or they fire you.

The boss was out yesterday so i took advantage of the workshop. For the last 5 years ive been working as a piano technician, and as much as i enjoy making stuff in the workshop ive moved on recently and im only working there on occasion for some extra $$$.
