Bought this flashlight and for the life of me I can't figure out how to disassemble
the top part without breaking it.

I can see in this picture it's disassembled, but still can't figure it out.

hi someone on another post used a socket and pushed the lens and stuff out from the bottom up if that makes sense, the socket needs to be a neat fit inside the flashlight without being too tight. good luck

Thank you. Size 9 socket was the size needed to push the front out.

Next question. Using a mono phone jack plus audio connector for the atomizer connector. Is it ok to bend one of the tabs on the side of the phone jack to touch the casing of the flashlight and act as ground?

Next question. Using a mono phone jack plus audio connector for the atomizer connector. Is it ok to bend one of the tabs on the side of the phone jack to touch the casing of the flashlight and act as ground?

Has to do more than just touch, you want it very tightly wedged against it.

Ok, cool. The phono jack connector which i ground down a little fits right into the top perfectly. Metal will definitely be touching metal, but I'll bend that tab to touch just to make sure. Thanks again, WillyB.

Another question came to mind when I was testing the parts/battery space.
What can I use as a spacer for the positive connection to the battery? This light
is too small for a bottle cap to work. maybe a trim down of one with a spring and
the wiring attached to it to go straight to the pos of the atomizer?

After searching for something to use as a spacer i finally cut a pill bottle top to size

For some reason the negative isn't working unless I touch it to part with the threads.
I'm guessing that there's a plastic separator that's keeping the negative from working.
What do?

Please describe your question in a little more detail. I don't quit understand where your issue is. Is it that your atty connector is not making contact with the flashlight housing?

That's it exactly. I sanded it down on the inside and it still doesn't seem to maintain a connection. Unsure if those tabs are at fault or it's the inside of the flashlight.

use a multimeter to check continuity between the outer part of the connector to the case of the flashlight. I would try a "fit to size" metal washer under the mono jack nut that will tightly press fit into the head of the body. this will give you a good connection and tight fit. Find a washer that is slightly larger than you need and then you can sand or grind it down to the proper diameter. there are a couple of tricks to doing this.

Use a nut and bolt through the center of the washer and tighten them down as centered as you can get them. Then put the bolt into a drill and spin it against some rough sand paper or if you have a bench grind against that "while it's on". This will help you keep a true round shape.

ummm... you do have the button switch on the bottom of the flashlight turned on???? =]

Yeah, the switch on the bottom is on. I was able to get some vapor, but I can't get it to maintain a connection. I'll try and find a nut and washer that will fit. Thank for the tips.
