Ok guys so I heard good things about madvapes and I'm sure they are great but I just got two atties in from them. One is a LR510 Bauway and the other is a 3.2 ohm 510. Both of them have this terrible flavor that I've never experienced in an atty before. When I first got them I blew them out but there seemed to be no primer which I thought was odd. I used the LR on my Riva and the 3.2 ohm on my 6v SB. After a good while of trying to break them in the horrible burning taste was still there for both of them. I put them in iso alky for about 5 hours to no avail. Then I tried dewicking and debridging them and that didn't work either. What's going on??? I really want these to work as I am a poor ........ And advice? BTW what I usually use on the Riva is a Litecigusa LR which works very well, and on the 6v SB I use 510 Boge cartos which works great too...I just want more TH at 6v so I was trying something new.

Thanks,
Nathaniel

Yeah I'm a dripper, I'm sure it's not their fault. I'm really having a hard time getting good vapor from my 6v device. Maybe it's my batteries. When I first got my SB I bought 2 disposable cr123a's to try it out before my tenergys got there. With a regular 510 atty it was awesome. With the tenergys the reg 510s get too hot and burp, so I'm using boge cartos. They work pretty well but not as well as I want. The HV attys don't really do it for me either because it seems they bring the voltage down too low and it's almost like vaping with the ego. Not sure what to try next...

I have been vaping at 6v for quite a while now. First thing I found was that I was not happy with atties at 6v in general. Lots of people love them. I'm just not one of them. I too use the boge cartomizers. Mine are all 3.2 ohm. The issue with 6v is the juices. Vapor doesn't seem to be as big of a problem as getting a good throat hit. Most of my juice is BWB. I get fantastic Th and vapor from his Virginia 18mg and from the Malty 18mg. The Virginia has a really strong pepper flavor base so that makes for awesome throat hit. His juices all have great flavor and vapor but at 6v for some weird reason I seem to lose the throat hit. I just got a Darwin and have been running the very same cartos and juices at 5v and all is back to being fantastic. Try a few of your favorite juices at a slightly higher nic content. Maybe that will help you out. Seemed to do the trick for me.

Tried the same two atties from MadVapes that you did and they were crap too. Tried the same "remedies" and had no luck getting the burnt taste out. Because a lot of people like them I doubt they are all like this. At 6v on my chuck I like the same cartos you use too, lol.
