I have tried it both ways adding an hole and just using the hole thats provided. Suprisingly the hole provided works well with a 70/30 mixture. I think anything over that needs an additional hole. But to my amazement these cartos work very well.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I run about the same mix and the thing works like a boss.

I ordered 5-each of the 1.5/2/2.5 replacement cartos last night for use with my similar tanks. I noticed the hole looks tiny lol. I figure, as long as air bubbles come out of the carto, joose is going into the carto. If the hole proves to be too narrow, I have tools lol. I use 75%VG/23%PG/2%PGA liquid. We'll see...

I bought two of the smok tech dual coil 510 tanks to put on my Leo.... I am very disapointed to say the least at this point in time.

The first thing was that the 510 to Leo adapter's centere point was to low and did not make contact, and after pulling on it with small needle nose pliers it wil just work on some 510 cartos...

Secondly, the vapor production is very low even on the 1.5ohm, the 2 ohm doesent do any better. It seems that the carto flood and then I must leafe it for at least ten min befor trying to vape on it again.

If any one can give me a fix or mod that I need to do I will realy apreciete it.

i just got one in the mail the other day..opened up the box today and filled it up with thick liquid...then primed the carto...it has been vaping all day, no burnt taste and hits great..the only thing i dont like is how easily the tank slides from the carto, gotta be careful with this one and not catch it on anything..overall i am liking this.

I fill my carto fully first. About 30 drops or so, then assemble the unit and fill the tank. I have been using the same carto for going on four weeks.

You may want to swap that carto out Brutha, dissect it and check out what your vaping inside of that bad boy, you may be like  once you see it. just saying,,,,, Cartos are cheap, no sense in using one that's all burnt up it's gotta be effecting the flavor of your juice after 4-5 days Minimum. Take a pic for us if you do it to please, like to see what it looks like by now.:2cool:

I sat on and broke one the other day that I had been using at least a week. I opened it and was surprised at how good the coils and diapers looked. I know a week isn't long but I've seen much worse in shorter times without the tank.

When it comes to tanks, I am a firm believer that the carto and the juice are the main factors in performance.
Provided the tank does not leak around the seals, that's pretty much all it contributes to performance.
It always amazes me how every vendor says their tank is the best. Other than the one with the adapter
built in to the bottom so that the carto screws in from the inside, they are all basically the same.

I have 2 tanks from Vaporessence, one 3ml and one 5.5ml Phat tank. The carto that came with them worked
ok. There was some leaking, but I think that was caused by going from cool interior to very hot exterior.
I tried Boge LR's but they were prone to flooding and leaking. I tried the DC cartos from Madvapes,
but they did not wick well even with a huge slot ( the top always seemed too dry ).

After reading some good reviews on the Skoktek cartos with the pinhole, I decided to order a few from
Madvapes and they finally came in yesterday. They fit the 3ml tank perfectly but was almost too tight in
the Phat tank ( had to push the o-rings in around the edge to keep from tearing ). I use mostly DIY juices
at a 70/30 PG/VG mix. I filled the tanks like normal and then primed the carto with about 30 drops and let
sit for about 15 minutes. I have been using them for a few hours now and they appear to be working
very well. I take 2 or 3 drags every 5 to 10 minutes, I am not a heavy vaper. I checked the top of the filler
and it is a little dry ( took about 15 to 20 drops to look moist again ), but it doesn't taste dry even when
I takes 3 drags in a row. Every now and then, I'll take a couple puffs without hitting the button, with
the thought that this will help it stay more moist. Sometimes I'll see a bubble escape the pinhole when
I do this.

So far they are working very well. I tend to use DC cartos till the flavor goes off or draw becomes too
stiff ( appx 2 to 3 weeks ). I'll dissect one then and let you all know.

Well, I wish I had remembered the cardinal rule with LR atties and VV, always start them at 3.7 or lower to break em in... I fried one of the coils. It vapes ok at low voltage (using a buzz pro with the dial set to green) but any higher and I get a burning taste. I bought mine from VaporKings (I'm local so its easy :D ). I'll have to pick up another carto and give it another whirl. I was using 100% pg Dekang juice. Now it wont pull juice in around the coils, I keep having to prime it by covering the bottom air holes and dragging on it some..... But, right now I feel it was my fault for vaping two high right away.

**edit**
Ok, picked up a new carto today and made sure to vape low to break it in. Good news is this carto works great! So far no leaks, fluid is filling the carto just fine. The top of my carto also appears dry, but I assume the middle is nice and wet as I've not had a dry hit yet. Filled it at 3 this afternoon and vaping strong. For the price you can't beat it.
