With all of my hardest googling, and minimal results, I cannot for the life of me find anyone showing where "Standard" voltage settings are.

If you have the madvapes VV box and a multimeter, it would help me immensely if you could provide pictures of how the dial looks at each setting. I know that it's somewhat varied a bit, but getting the ballpark idea is all I need. I really don't want to blow any of my cartos by accidentally vaping too high.

Numbers guy, need dem' numbers. Thanks :vapor:

I can tell you that with the MV box 4.5v is suppose to be with the little flat parallel to the edge of the box.
However I built mine myself, so it's a bit different.
Best thing to do is get one of the little MV volt meters, they're like $15 I believe.
In the end you will do what OT suggested, because taste is what matters .. not the voltage.

Everyone needs a voltmeter to measure atty resistance and check battery voltages on your ecig hardware. They are good for multiple needs around the house.

If you want something handy to go with your Madvapes vv box mod, try this digital voltmeter. It has a 510 male thread on one end that screws into your box mod and a female thread on the other that accepts 510 attys and cartos. When you press the button, it reads the voltage (under load if you have an atty installed). The male connector on the left side was cropped in this picture. It's $14.99 from Madvapes. It also comes in black. Just search for the word "assembled" and both will pop up.

You really can't go by what someone elses VV is reading on the dial, they can vary a bit.

I use to also be OCD with numbers, quickly got out of that is they don't mean squat except for testing purposes.

Set it low when you first put on a carto/atty them move it up till you find your sweet spot, that's all that really matters.

If you do want a meter several screw on models have already been listed, make sure you get one that'll test under load, madvapes as well as others sell them.

To answer your question, YES it does.

I don't think it does.. it says so on the site, says the led will just flash. They say they are working on this. I love mine! If you have a vv mod that doesn't have a builtin voltmeter, this is a handy little gadget to have.

Well, not really. The eGo batteries (except the 1100mah from what I understand) use a pulse width modulation technique to regulate the voltage to 3.4v from charge until just before cutoff. If you hook this module to an eGo, it will just flash the display at a high rate and not display a voltage.

It's good for box mods and Riva batts and any batt that doesn't use PWM voltage regulation.

i have several madvapes VV boxes and all the dial's are different, some are at full voltage when the pot is turned only half way and some you have to turn the pot all the way to get to full voltage.... none of them are the same... you need to just adjust to taste and functionality!!!

I bought the little digital voltmeter to see what my sweet spots were set at. I'm a gadget freak and like to get into the details of what's going on.

What I found (under load) is that I like some juices in Boge LR cartos at 3.2v and others as high as 4.2v. Most of my vaping is done right about 3.4v to 3.7v, telling me why I like some juices better on an eGo and others on a Riva. Then, there are some that never tasted right and were on the weak side at 3.2v to 3.4v. Those blossom as I get up around 4.2v. Curiosity satisfied!

Thanks for all the feedback, man what an active forum!

I went out and got a multimeter from walmart. Had my friend who is far better with electronics than myself take a look at it, and measure voltages at different settings. I was able to replicate the settings when temporarily marking them and a spot on the dial. Then I marked the standard voltage settings with a silver sharpie paint marker, as well as the spot on the dial to get those voltages. But as everyone has said, gotta go by taste as well. I find that testing cartos at standard voltages, then slightly adjusting, gives me peace of mind and awesome flavor. Thanks guys, and I'll probably be getting one of the new madvapes VV with built in display :vapor:
