We had some old friends from up North that came in to stay with us over the weekend...living in south Florida that will happen! Overall, it was a nice weekend full of fun conversation, eating, drinking and catching up. TY Crowedude654

Meh, just another weekend here except that it rained all weekend.

Nice and relaxing.I sat around most of the weekend,took my son fishing a couple times,but for the most part i did nothing haha.We did watch American sniper on memorial day,i had been wanting to see it,and felt memorial day was a fitting time to watch it,very good movie by the way.

Welp, it was supposed to be a fun weekend with guests but looking back I remember a lot of driving, cooking and cleaning. Tired me out!!

How was your Memorial Day weekend?

Friday after work went and saw the band RUSH in concert.
Saturday, recuperated from seeing the band RUSH in concert.
Sunday, Played on ECF most of the day.
Monday, worked and will be paid triple time for the holiday.

All in all a great weekend.

I had a quiet relaxing day... Regular workout in the morning and a wonderful chat with my daughter in the afternoon. She's just wrapped up her tax season and is getting ready to head to Colorado for a summer acting gig so we haven't had a lot of time for a long conversation in what seems like forever... One of the best memorial days I've had for a long time!

Overall it was a good Memorial Day weekend. Manage to start and finish a project on the house then got lots of rest time. The only downer was the fishing trip for Sunday got canceled due to rain.

We don't celebrate Memorial Day as such but I did think of all our vets

I spent the day making soups. Its cold and wintery so it was very relaxing. I am not a very good cook but I can do soup. My house smelled beautiful. Tomato and bacon, ham and split pea and pumpkin and broccoli. (Three different ones)

My freezer is stocked and ready.

We didn't do anything special. I did spend time thinking about all those that gave their lives so that we might have the freedoms that we enjoy today.

Like the pics SirNutz... I have been there... several times.

Spent my weekend with family and we also watched American Sniper. Here in Elkins there is a Veteran's Memorial in the main intersection in town and on another corner of that intersection is a flower patch that is maintained by Blue Star Mothers so I get reminded all year long and not just one day in May.

I had a great weekend. Some good music, some good people and some good vape. There are only so many of these weekends left in my life. Each one means everything. I find as you get older you realize that youth is indeed wasted on the young. No offense meant to you young folk.
