Magma top cap, unlike most rda's is screwed to the Base, not insulated by o-rings. Might try raising the ohms a little. Remember, it is not just what ohms you are running but also the length and frequency of the draw.:)

Lmao. I totally forgot about that. I take rather long draws. I like the flavor it throws at you. But the heating up of the top cap is a con for me. Don't want to have to ramp up the ohms..... Any suggestions? Or just suck it up and take what I got lol.

Ideas on next rda similar to the magma? Only thing it has to be for me that it comes in all black lol. I want it to match my turtleship.

Well, you can add a Pom between the Drip tip and Cap. It acts as an insulator. However, you really should give it a try at around .5oms ans see what it does.
Never assume because RDA (A) needs to run .3ohms for good performance that RDA (B) Also needs to run the same ohms. If it was that way, we would only ever need 1 RDA. :D

RDA's like the TOBH have large heat sinks to help shed excess heat.
