I see so many posts about Magma rda with long 510 connectors that don't sit flush on non adjustable mods..does the Infinate clone Magma have a regular length 510 that will sit flush on a Provari ?
What adjustments can be made if the 510 is the longer type ?

My friend has hers on a provari. I'll ask her for you.

My Infinite Magma has a long 510 connection and sits far from flush on my Provari. The gap is over twice as big as any other atty I own currently, it looked quite awkward. Luckily I didn't intend on using it with the Provari or I might not have ended up as happy as I am with it.

That's .7- .8 ohms total meaning say two 1.5 ohm coils correct? Mine is due to arrive from fastech any day now (just left NY)

It could mean anything.
Could be a true single.
Could be two 1.5(ish) coils in parallel.
Could be two .35ohm coils in series.
Etc etc etc

There are no hard and fast rules for anything when it comes to vapaing.

Again, I run .6ohm single parallel coil with both air holes wide open. The coil is maybe 1mm off the air inlet.
Ive been running it like this for months now and havent found a better build.
Moderately warm on a fresh bat on a mech (for those of you that refuse to embrace technology) but not hot and definitely not burnt. And enough vapor production to attract unwanted attention in public (people always ask if Im smoking pot)

With the Magma getting the coil closer to the air inlet is key for lower builds (Id swear it wicks better when its lower too) BUT the problem is if you get TOO close it becomes counter productive because the coil itself will obstruct airflow.

im eyeing this one:

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1785901

anyone got any experience with the FT magmas? the 1:1 SS clone was in my cart and i know that ones been reported as good, but now that i see brass and copper AFC ones, i think id rather have the accent. just hoping the colored ring ones are as good as the SS.

My coil winder sells similar coils 28 guage 1.5 ohm.. I just received my magma clone and tried it out tonight and man I am impressed. This without a doubt the best dripper for the mount the air-holes under the coils take away any advantage in my opinion that the KFL had as far as flavor. And the flavor on the magma just beats the KFL because there are 2 bottom air holes. In the The magma I see the KLF to have much influence on the design of the Magma but improvements making the Mahma the better rebuildable for flavor.

That's the way I see it too. With the KFL they tried to do to much and rebuilding is all over the map, its a bit over engineered. The magma strips out all the questionable stuff and what is left is solid gold.

As far as ohms the sweet spot is two 1.5 ohm coils for 0.75. Typical ejuice can handle about 20 watts to the 0.75 ohm to give wonderful flavor. There are exceptions I just tried Ether's blueberry and it can handle 30 watts easily talk about clouds! Amazing device this magma is and most important for me as a dripper its unique not another brasss monkey themed rda.

Has anyone seen this strange variation of the magma, called the maggie that was just listed on friday 9/12 ?
It has some different features, some good and some bad. But interesting to look at.
I like that the top cap on the v2 is o-ringed slip on design instead of magma style screw on cap.
However, as far as i can tell, the top cap is not domed inside.
I do like that both maggies in the links below are 22mm with afc thats also 22mm instead of bulging out. But the lack of the dome shaped chamber makes it an epic failure comparison to the true magma 1:1 clones.

$15.10 Maggie V2 Styled Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

This maggie (the igo w6) is two post like the magma, and it has a screw on cap with an o-ring seal, but its still not a domed chamber.
$15.25 IGO-W6 Styled Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel + brass (gold plated) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Which begs for the question...
I wonder if the top cap from a magma would screw onto the igo w6 maggie ? best of both worlds ?

Yeah, I don't really like the look of fit, but, it may work well. I think the amazing favor from the Magma has more to do with the airflow coming directly from underneath the coil than the reduced dome. So with that in mind, the top cap may not be as important in this situation -- and more space may reduce some of the heat known to come from the Magma in so any different builds.

I think it's pretty ugly (LOL), but it looks to be worth 15 bux! I may try it.
