Magnet ipv5?

Hello guys,i recently purchased a pioneer4you ipv5 and today i noticed it attracted a 5cent coin to itself,the lowest part of its sides,you know what i mean.I have 2 efest 18650 batteries in that,they dont seem damaged,everything looks fine.Just,seeing a coin being magneted onto my vape made me anxious and worried.Is there danger of explosion??Please answer.

I'm not familiar with that mod, but it's probably the magnetic battery cover. My mods with magnetic covers do that, too. I'm always picking up tweezers with mine if it gets too close to them. It won't cause it to explode.

Someone will hopefully be along shortly to advise on your batteries. I don't think Efest is a good brand. Usually they're crappy batteries, rewrapped, and mislabeled. I don't have any, so I can't give any personal experience.

I've got the iPV5 and I have also had problems with it attracting metallic objects. To prevent this and any damage to the mod, I bought a silicone sleeve for it off of Ebay =)

As long as you don't let pocket change get inside the mod, I wouldn't worry. A regulated mod like that will not short coming in contact (externally) with your keys or change. The finish might get dinged up though.

First off.. are you in the USA? I just took a handful of change and placed it next to my ultra hi powered "crush your hand" ND magnet and none of the coins were attracted to it...

Id be more worried about that 5cent piece ... could be a counterfit coin

Scratched or other damage to the surface. Pretty much the way I don't carry my phone in the same pocket as loose keys or change (although I doubt a coin would do much, but a key can easily scratch a phone or mod).

As long as you use it properly it should not explode. Regulated mods like yours have a variety of safety and protection features to prevent that. Just follow the safety instructions that came with it like only using batteries designed for your model (18650s), don't try to vape right after you drop your mod in the water at the beach and feel stressed out, don't leave your mod in a hot car and allow the batteries to reach very high temperature (same for small children and pets) . Pretty much exactly the same precautions you would with any Li ion battery, such as your cell phone, which while extremely rare, have happened.

Doesn't this MOD have magnetic covers? I am surprised though that copper looking coin is attracted to a magnet.
