mAh for Vamo V2

Hi everybody,

I just ordered myself a Vamo v2, but waited with buying batteries.
I read that some 18650's rattle (too short), so which kind doesn't, if any?
And which mAh would be good for it?

Any suggestions?

The new v2's have the updated springs, so any 18650 batt should be fine. I use panny cgr flat tops and EH IMR nipple tops and neither of them rattle.

And if you get an old-stock Vamo, replacement springs are cheap enough: available online or at Ace Hardware. Or there's always that skinny flashlight whose batteries leaked sitting in your kitchen Glory Drawer. One of my Vamos has a recycled spring from an old flashlight in it -- the spring was free, and I finally threw away that broken flashlight.

I have the old spring and I've pulled it enough that there isn't much rattle. Some of my batteries have scotch tape wrapped twice around which prevents any rattle in the Vamo ... lol!

Great thing about the Vamo is just about any 18650/18350 size will work.

Ultrafire XSL 18650 2600mah fit/work perfect in the Vamo. 2 months using these without issue.
