major oops~!

I got the other half f my SS package today, part of it was a mega atty and mega carts for the ego, wooT~!

Until now I've used drip tips and stayed away from carts as they just seem a little silly, you have to top them off about as often as you drip.

I decided to try out the mega cart since it looks like it will hold a lot. I fill it up.....so excited that I managed to get 40 drops in.......uh.....




I filled the cart out of the wrong bottle~! Instead of my cinnamon pear I got a big ol lung full of 100mg nic~!!! Boy will that wake you up~!! quarter till 4 and I'm nowhere near sleepy, lol.


Seriously, I know how dangerous that was and the lesson has been learned to keep the diy nic far from the flavors I make~!

After trying to burn it out of the atty for about 20 minutes I surrendered and my new atty is getting an alcolhol bath, and I have a fresh cart filled with the RIGHT juice.....50 drops, wooT

Good grief...are you okay? I tried vaping 48mg unflavored out of curiosity. I vaped 36mg at the time without problems. I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. I only took 2 hits and got dizzy/sick/light headed/the whole nine yards. I'm glad you're still upright and verticle.

nah I feel fine. Half the time I exhale out my nose and it definitely cleared out my sinuses, but aside from feeling like I'll be awake for days it's all good~! I changed the cap on my nic bottle to red and tucked it back in the diy drawer so I don't pull this stunt again~!

Oh My Lynlee, glad you didn't have a really bad reaction. I did 54mg of platinum ice (knowingly lol) and didn't get sick but was kind of gross on it's own.

I have to keep my nic in the bottles it came in or i'd be doing that all the time

Thank goodness you are okay, I got a separate tackle box for my DIY so that I don't mix anything up. I also cut my 100mg down to 50mg so it is safer to have around and to work with. Also make sure you label everything.

Ouchie. For me, high strength nic is only in blue bottles, standard cap (not a dropper), and never around my working liquid. Makes it harder to have a CRS moment and use it by mistake. Glad you're okay.

Yeah, lynlee, I second cutting down that nic juice ASAP. Just mix it 50/50 with VG and you'll have double the amount of 50mg nic. Just shake it really well.

I'm glad everything is ok with you. Be careful! I have had my 100mg nic leak on me so I diluted it and try to be extra careful.

This is precisely why I don't DIY. No kidding, you could have died. You're very lucky you figured it out on the first puff.

The alcohol bath is good, I think. I do it all the time, and as a result I now have an atomizer that I'm calling "The Immortal." I have used rubbing alcohol, but despite Dr. Vaper's assurances, I can still taste the denaturant chemicals that are part of rubbing alcohol.

I'm now using 151 proof Everclear (the weak kind that's legal here in Minnesota). It works great. Another thing you might do is to drip a few drops of pure PG onto the atomizer prior to the next use. Boil some of it off, then add your favorite juice. Good as new!

Just a couple thoughts. Hey, I'm really glad you didn't give yourself a stroke or a heart attack. Seriously.

I too can taste the alcolhol after cleaning attys. I've started dripping 2 drops of VG after the alcolhol soak and blowing them out well. I let them sit overnight and then I give them 'primer puffs'. Puff it without inhaling until I start getting big vapor puffs, then it's ready to ue again~!
