Hey folks, I had an experience that blew me away with a little shop in Edmonton Alberta and wanted to share my experience. I ordered 4 AW IMR batteries from River City Vapes for my ZNA that was in the mail. I decided to order from them (even though I had never heard of them) as they were the only official Canadian AW retailer that had both of the batteries I was looking for and they had them at a very fair price. Well a few days later a package arrived (two days before my device), I was stoked, I hadn't ordered any AW's before. Anyway, I opened the envelope and BAM!!, 4 flat top purple Efest batt's, I was a little ticked. Well more than a little, I figured I would not be able to use my zna when it came as I would have to send these back wait for shipping both ways and since I didn't have any button tops, I figured I would be SOL. So I call River City Vapes, and was directed to Shawn (turns out he is the Owner/ Manager), when he picked up, I asked what was wrong with his shipping department? (sorry Shawn, I was kinda panicking) he didn't blink an eye (at least not that I could hear :)). He simply asked what had happened. I explained I had been shipped the wrong batteries and I was unhappy cuz I now would not have the batteries I needed in time for my device arrival. Shawn calmly said no problem, the correct batteries will be going out today (I should mention I had called at about 3:30 in the afternoon), I had figured mail would have already been picked up for the day, Oh and this was a Wednesday and my device was coming on Friday of the same week. Shawn also apologized and told me to keep the batteries that were shipped in error, so the wait began. Well on Friday, I go to check my mailbox, looking for my zna and no deal, but there was a package in my box. The label said River City Vapes, but it was WAY to thick to be my batteries. I open the package and WHOLLY CRAP!!!, Shawn had doubled my battery order, that's 8 AW IMR's, packaged in Efest zippered battery cases (not ordered) and 2, count um 2 18ml juice bottles and 1 30ml bottle of their juice :D.

Wow!!, unreal!. Seriously Shawn, twice the batteries, 3 battery cases and over 60ml of juice. Sir you have seriously outdone yourself!!. So guys, I would encourage you to give these guys a try. Service like that is hard to come by. I have had many screwed up orders (on-line, not just vape stuff), and never has a retailer gone to those lengths to make things right. With my attitude on the phone, I don't think I would have gone that far and beyond. Oh, and I should mention he also Express shipped the replacement so I would have it on time.

Even though I'm in Ontario, I'll add them to my rollodex for the next time I'm looking for something.

I'm new to the scene myself, but I love how common these kinds of experiences seem to be in the vaping scene. I had a similar one myself when I ordered juice direct from Flavour Crafters and there was a mixup with my order. They were amazing to deal with, sent me out a replacement super fast, an threw in a bunch of free goodies for the hassle.

I have to say that as far as B&M shops go, River City is the best in Edmonton. It is unfortunate that they recently moved. I come from North of Edmonton and the old location was a bit of a journey, but the new one is way out there.

They really do offer great customer service at very competitive prices, but I'm not making that extra drive. Sorry guys. 118 ave was deep enough. Ft Road is too far.
