I ordered a mech mod last night with a igo l and panasonic ncr 18650 pd batterys. Right now I have 32ga kanthal. not really interested in sub ohm, seems unsafe and kinda scares me a little. thinking I want to stay around the 1ohm, maybe a hair less area. now if I build a dual coil with two 2ohm coils from 32 kanthal that should give me 1 ohm right?

now would i get better results going with the 32 with less wraps or switching to 30 or 28 with more wraps? thanks

i use 32 in my trident for duals. sits right at 1 ohm. 5 wraps each on 3mm silica.
I like the faster response time of thinner wire. but most of my single coils are done in 30g

it will come down to preference and taste, there is no perfect wire for everything. just play with it and see what you like. more wraps may make more vapor and flavor but be slower to heat up. and the opposite of less wraps in thinner wire. (but we arent talking a massive difference in vapor output)

thanks, think ill play with the 32 then when I visit my brother at cool ill rebuild it with the 28ga his friend has and see what I like. His friend has been playing with RBA's and mech for a few months now and is good friends with a guy at teh e cig store and he learned from him. So might be usful to see what he is using.
