Hello and welcome to the forum @Seabeewife22. Glad to have you here!:)

There is no simple answer to your question. DIY involves a lot of reading and experimentation to make something you will really love to vape.

I started by finding a few recipes I wanted to try. I then bought the flavorings identified in the recipe (and some trial & error) to get a final recipe I loved to vape.

For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum. Lots of great info in all the "stickies". Below is the information I often give to members new to DIY.
  • Dannyv45's blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice. => dannyv45 - Blogs
  • Hoosier's blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives. =>Hoosier - Blogs
  • For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp
  • If you are interested in mixing by weight (vs volume) here is a great video: How to Use an eJuice Calculator and Mix with a Scale
Here are some threads you may like to read through for different flavoring companies. Many of the posts include recipes and comments about a specific flavor.

You are on your way to saving money. DIY is one of the best things I ever learned. The post above contains all you need to get started. As for flavoring, start low (2%) and work your way up. It is easier to add more then to try to make an over-potent weaker. Good luck.

I am just getting into making my own ejuice and I bought a pre mixed pg/vg and nicotine, but home much flavor do I put into it for how many mls. I know this may sound dumb but I'm a newbie at making it :)

It is always very subjective.

1. The amount of flavor you like.
2. The strength of the flavor.
3. A peach flavor from vendor A will be stronger than peach from vendor B, and weaker than vendor D.

Start with recipes. But instead of putting in the full amount put 50-75% as much flavor as the recipe calls for. Allow the juice to steep a day or two. And taste the juice. If the flavor us not to your liking add more flavor.

You can always add more flavor but you can't take it out.

Then the second time you make that juice you know how much flavor to add. I do this every time I open a new bottle of flavor from a different lot.

It isba good idea to keep a dripper around just to taste new juices.

@Seabeewife22 , when I started DIYing my own ejuice I did a lot of research online. Youtube is a good place for DIY videos. As for my own experimentation, I make 10ml worth of juice since it is easier for me to make my liquid measurements and I generally start with 5% flavor unless I am trying a recipe from the internet. Good luck

You should find a good juice calculator to use and learn all about the calculator first. This will help make sure you are using the correct amount of base (nicotine) as well as your ratios of your pg, vg & flavorings. Use the guides above to get started with your flavor percentages and probably a good idea to make single flavor mixes at first and eventually you'll be making as good or better mixes than you've been buying.
