Making Sure I Have Everything...

I've been lurking around in the DIY forum for about a month and have finally pulled the trigger on doing it myself. I just want to confirm that I have all the necessary materials to get started. [Note: I have read all of the stickies, especially the safety one several times ]

As long as the OP realizes that much at once can be overwhelming... I'd perhaps stash some of it (esp the flavors) and pull out a handful at a time as you get comfortable with the ones before....

I completely agree. I have about 200 bottles of flavoring and I've been at it a while. More then half of my flavoring remains unopened. I find with so much selection I get overwhelmed and my creative thinking goes right out the window.

To the OP make sure you have a lot more 10ml bottles than you think you need.

Not sure why the VG and PG wasn't in the list, but I did get that. Thanks, now I actually know that you really reviewed what I had

I learned a valuable lesson today: Don't shop for flavorings on an empty stomach. I haven't eaten in a while and everything looked so delicious.

Another note... with that many flavorings.... Might wanna start deciding how you're gonna organize them... I probably have 50ish flavorings and they get out of hand at times... But on the other hand... with the exception of a few newer ones... I know what I can do with them. So sometimes more isn't a great thing.... But I would pick out 10ish of you're most promising flavors and mess with those... Stash the rest for a bit... Now when you do come across that MUST TRY RIGHT NOW recipe, or something creative does strike... Then dig them out. But 187 is alot of flavors to get to know all at once.

Lurk a little longer before you order 187 flavors from TFA/CAP/LA...odds are you'll dislike the majority...hit up the FlavourArt & Inawera threads for flavors.

I wish I had asked these questions before I started DIY. I went Hog Wild and bought way more of everything I thought I might need, and now it's just sitting there unused because I found out that I can only vape so many mills a day. (Got enough fixins to last a long long time!)

The K.I.S.S principle surly does apply when getting started. You can always add more later.

Did you just get one size of each bottle? I have like 30 glass 30 ml bottles and 20 or so of the glass 15 ml bottles. I like to use the flat caps. But when I mix up juice I do like 300 ml at a time cause I like them to have a good long steep..
