Hi Roux!

Welcome to ECF. I would say that your selection of the MVP 2 is likely spot on. It is very highly liked in these forums for the price point and features. The other consideration I would suggest would be the Innokin iTaste VV v3. It is an exceptional device, and can be found around the $30 price point. It is probably about as thick as an eGo, but it is square instead of round. It has most of the features of the MVP 2, and is a little more "pocket friendly". The biggest disadvantage is that it is only an 800 mAh battery, but it does have pass thru, so you can vape while it charges.

As for tanks, I really like the Protank 2, which uses the same coil as the EVOD, but has a pyrex tank that is suitable for stronger "tank cracking" juices. I have not tried the Protank 2 Mini or the Protank 3, but would expect them to perform just as well as the Protank 2. If you want to try a top coil design, I have read lots of good stuff about the Innokin iClear 16/30S, although have not tried them myself.

As always ... YMMV!

Pair it with a Protank2, Protank3, or any of a million carto tanks.

Sigelei - Zmax / Legend

These are both good suggestions, they have a pretty large following. I personally own a Legend and really like it. However, if you don't already use an 18650 mod, you will also have to add the cost of a battery (at least one) and a charger to the kit cost, taking you much higher than the $50 limit.

Here is a good vv setup in an ego style configuration (the MVP2 might have too stiff of a button for your wife)

Sorry, but this gave me a laugh. The button might be too stiff based on the preference of some people, but I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not that person is a male or female. ;)

I love my MVP2. Stiff button and all. :vapor:

I have the innokin vv3 and the MVP2 both are solid devices in your price range.

Innokin VV3 Excellent if you have USB power available or for short outings.
MVP 2 - All around excellent device, holds a charge all day, even for heavy vapers. The newer ones have the button issue worked out.

Sigelei Zmax V3 or V5 Telescopic Flat Top. Telescopic tube fits any popular 18350 through 18650 replaceable IMR battery. VV/VW. 3-6 V or 3-15 watts. Built like a tank. The V3 is getting hard to find now as the holidays approach but the new V5s out there. V5 adds puff counter and cell phone charger. Both have been available body only for under $50.

The kits at the link I posted are $75. That includes 2 batteries, a charger, a case, and a cheap clearo.
Man, for an extra $25 you get a *really* well built mod. Can't beat VariTube's pricing on the Sigeleis.

You can't beat Varitube's 90-day warranty on the Sigelei either. You have to pay for any warranty.
