It seems that two different carto tanks are being talked about here; the IBTanked and the Ikenvape systems. I am looking at the IBTanked more, but I have a couple of questions.

- What is the difference between a Halfling, a standard, and an XL? I am imagining it is vertical size, but what are the sizes in ML?

25mm Cartomizer Tank
- The picture at the top shows a tall Drip Tip. Is that replaceable?

- As to the ohms rating on the carto, I use 2.2s on my current BCCs with a voltage about 3.6. Is there a recommendation as to which ohms rating to get?

- Are the cartomizers listed (Smoktech) pre-punched?

Thanks all,
Jere

First, the 25mm tank is wider in diameter than almost all devices! Typical battery tube for a mod is 22, and that's what more people get...
You are right: Halfling is REALLY short, and requires a special "shorty" cartomizer. Standard uses a "standard" cartomizer (35mm). XL is taller and uses a Mega or XL cartomizer (45mm). SOMEwhere, I've seen volume - but I don't know it off the top of my head, sorry...

Yes - the drip tip is totally up to you - I don't think one is included, unless you select one. I actually like their "IBTipsy" drip tips - but you can use any standard 510 drip tip.

Their cartomizers say if they're punched. The one that doesn't say "2-hole" requires punching it yourself, I think - the ones that say "2-hole"...well, they have 2 holes in them.

If you're used to 2.2 ohms, I'd say get the 2 ohm. But as long as you have variable volts, you could throw in a 3 ohm carto or two and give it a try as well. I've actually figured out that I like the 3 ohm better with certain juices (just to keep my life from getting too simple).

Here are the sizes in ml for the IBTanked site.

15mm HalfLing = 0.4ml
15mm Standard= 0.8ml
15mm XL = 1.2ml
19mm HalfLing = 0.7ml
19mm Standard= 1.5ml
19mm XL = 2ml
22mm HalfLing = 1.2ml
22mm Standard = 3ml
22mm XL = 4.5ml
25mm HalfLing = 2ml
25mm Standard = 5ml
25mm XL = 8ml

HOLY CRAP!!! I just got 2 x 8ml tanks!! HOLY CRAP!!!

Whew! Got that ordered cancelled. I didn't have the above list when I ordered. Went with the 22mm XLs Whew!

Aye, I ended up talking to some manager there. Having a SID, I figured the widest would fit it. Then I thought that the tallest would make about 5ml...Jeez. Afterwards I saw your chart (appreciate) and about crapped! Anyway, none of the three order tries ever actually went through. We did talk about the website issues and they know that it isn't the friendliest. Anyway, I ordered one complete tank and 10 cartos, etc. So I am jumping into the world of, hopefully, better flavor.

One of the things that I am learning is to not take a lot of expensive little steps. At 10+ weeks I want to start reaching, just not 8ml worth!

Glad the chart helped. It was hidden over on the faq page on their site. Ordering the first tank is a bit confusing but once you get one the site suddenly makes more sense. Once you get the hang of priming and refilling it should become the most reliable piece of vape gear you own. That is what I love about it the most, it just works with little to no fiddle factor. Just hang onto your thingy (the plastic bottle the tank comes in) for priming. If you don't prime enough you will burn your carto and that is not a pleasant taste.

Best of luck and enjoy!

You said "hang onto you thingy"...

Sorry it's just one of those days
