Not sure, depends on the recipe and what Malted Milk does for the recipe. Its a pretty unique flavor, and I enjoy it at 1-2% in certain mixes, but if it's used as a creamy feel within the recipe in question, than you could substitute it with any cream you think would work. I'd recommend just buying a small vial and see if you like it.
is it whoppers candy ? yum I dont think it would easily be duplicated. I'm no pro so I could be dead wrong. I'd just order a small amount to try first, most places ship super fast so really anything is just a few days away for a few bucks.
I bought a teeny bottle from TPA, shipped super fast, but I'm not sure what percent to use it at, yet. I think I tried it at 4%, but needs to be higher?
I usually stick to 1-2%. Honestly, for me, anything above 2% has a pukey flavor. Try it at 1.5% and let it sit for a few days before sampling it. It's also worth mentioning I've never tried it as a single flavor.
Like Aheadatime, this one's 2% or lower for me. I use it with vanilla ice cream (my own made with FA Vienna Cream and Fresh Cream) and strawberry for a strawberry malt. It's okay with mild chocolate, but I think it tastes maltier with vanilla-strawberry.
Went back through my notes. I used it at 3%. Didn't mix well with all the other stuff that was in it, so I may try it again with the lower % and less "other stuff". Something more simple.
