I worked on an orange flavor for quite a while but it always seemed to be missing something. For me that something was lemon. I found I had to make it in small batches though because the lemon seems to fade pretty quickly.

my final recipe...

Citrus Delight

10% Juicy Orange (Capella)
5% orange cream TFA
4% lemon (TFA)
4% mandarin orange (TFA)
2% Tangerine (Capella)
Lemon juice - 1 drop per 3ml (yep, just the little yellow plastic lemon)
optional- a drop or 2 of sweetener per ml
This is a mix and vape recipe so no steeping is necessary.
Unfortunately I'm maxed out with vape relating spending for this year so I added these flavours to my list but it'll be the new year until I can try this since I don't have any of the above flavours on hand and 5 new flavours just couldn't afford this time. Oh well something to look forward to early next year.

Mixed this up yesterday and pretty good now, mostly pineapple and lime coming thru. Think it will be a winner in a few days.
FA Florida Key Lime 1%
FA Juicy Strawberry 4%
HS Pineapple 2%
FA Royal Orange 7%
Inspired by an old post by petrotech.

Concerning oranges...a must have for me will be a flavor base of FW Blood Orange & FA Royal Orange. Love them both and they will become a perfect orange combined. Going to mix 2% blood orange and 3% royal to start. Will update in a week on outcome. The Tangerines and Mandarins are still steeping.
HI I ordered the Blood Orange and the Royal Orange they should be here Friday or Monday so looking forward to testing them next week. ty

I enjoy both. They do need a steep. Start with lower percentage than mine, not many use as high percentages as I do.
Needs a steep is good I'm finding as the shake n vape flavours seem to be prone to fading which makes it harder to get ahead on the mixing ymmv

INW shisha orange is a good snv. Only lasts about 72 hours tho. I mix it with HS pineapple. Good for a quick mix to vape at work. Start at 3% orange and .5% pineapple. HS pineapple is very strong. If you don't love pineapple use 2% INW pineapple instead. Another good snv is 3% INW shisha orange and 1% FA Florida key lime.

I tryed it with FA orange but the Fanta taste overpowered it, which I first enjoyed but got bored with quick. Tryed 3 to 5 % Mandarin with orange at half the strength of Mandarin. Maybe browse my next post for recipe. Ty

People suggest Dragon Fruit added to other fruits to enhance their flavor. I tried that but I didn't like the citrus flavor it added. Maybe that would spice up your mandarin without adding anything except more citrus. People advise adding it in small amounts, around 1/4 as much as your main fruit.

Dragon fruit can takeover before you know it. Does mix well with citrus in very small amount. Problem is citrus juices take so long to steep. Even at two weeks they are not fully steeped. .5% lime or a couple drops of FA sicilian mix can brighten them up. I just got in some WF tangerine, looking forward to giving it a go. So far the tangerines and mandarins are very soft flavors for me. Will definitely need a boost. I'm thinking blood orange will help, and maybe a bit of royal orange as well.

I went for big flavour so used your test %'s Blood Orange 2% and Royal Orange 3%. Did a test vape of both today and they show promise.
After 48 hours here's what I tasted.

Blood Orange, orange in with a bit of Fanta, wee bit of plastic/perfume note.

Royal Orange, orange in, mouth orange, sugary sensation on lips, seems deeper and richer taste so may steep into a more complex flavour than Blood Orange
So far they show promise will see after a week.

My percentages are high so I can see what I'm looking for. When I get to something close I will lower % for long term steeping. Most citrus needs a long steep. I test weekly for a month. Most orange are best after 6 week steep. So far I've found a couple that you can't taste after a few days.

That is what I was thinking I would lower but wanted full on flavour for first test. Will mix some lower level testers next.
That's a long steep at 6 weeks, have some mixs at 4 weeks now so slowly getting some aged mixs to taste test before I start mixing 100mls at a time. It's interesting how they change over a longer period than my usual mix 2@30 Mls and mix again when I crack the second bottle but it seems that way I'm mixing every day and the juice never gets past 2 weeks old.
Will be adjusting %'s at 6 weeks to factor in the longer steep.

My testers won't make it that long, about out of commercial orange vapes and damned if I'll buy more! Luckily I've found a couple of decent snv recipes and working on more.
