Dripping = 5 great hits - two ok hits - one nasty hit. repeat .......repeat ...................repeat ......................repeat.
Quality Tank with quality (Boge) cartomizer = 300 very good hits.
That's about it. Yes dripping provides great flavor for a few hits but then you always take that one hit that tastes bad, indicating the need to drip again. I'll take the all day convenience of a carto tank and live with flavor that's almost as good! I used to use bottom feeders but then you have flooding issues and still put up with the occasional nasty hit. Carto tanks are far more consistent. Just my two cents.

Personally, I dislike "carto taste". Anything with fluffy filler/wrap. Blech!

I drip. To reduce the frequency of dripping, I use smart carts on atomizers.

lol Pete54. I've not seen it described that way before ;) Although I'd debate the '5' #, even at 5 volts...the point is well made though. I usually can catch it before the "nasty" hit, particularly when using the smart carts.

Many people love tanks. However, you need to "get good at it" with many. And there's a lot of variation ... some leak more than others. Most tanks are wrapped around cartos (blech again). Others are tank-carts with atomizers. So it varies.

Some cartos have wicks (like CEx's).

Ever ask yourself why the heck they don't just make cartos/clearos with a big bulge in the center of the tube so it holds more juice? No holes to punch then, or assembly. No...we have to wrap a tube around a tube and punch holes in the center one. Who knows.

The other option for a good pure taste is getting a Genesis mini/maxi or a Line V2 rebuild-able atomizer, they have a tank and the taste is just pure and amazing. The only downside is they need allot of tinkering and you have to be handy to make the wicks (SS 400 mesh) and to make the coils. They require allot of patience to setup at first but when you get it working its bliss.

Or you can also use a bottom feeder like a Reo coupled with your favorite atomizer

I understand your point about filler taste but, honestly, I barely taste the filler when set up properly. There is a learning curve and not all carto tanks are created equally. IMO all Smoktek carto's have filler that is too loose. This leads to the leaking people experience. Boge's are tightly packed and I have yet to have one leak. If they are properly filled before inserting into a tank, they taste pretty good to me. I've tried all those CEx style filler-less carto's and they just taste bad to me. Some people love 'em, not me. We are all looking for the perfect juice delivery system and it's amazing that in all this time we haven't really got it perfected. I hear whisperings about atty tanks coming soon. Who knows, maybe they will be the Holy Grail! I've heard great things about the Odysseus from GG. Personally, I don't feel like building my own atty's at this time. There are many other rebuild-able tank systems out there. All require careful set up so I'll pass. Really the answer is to try several systems and find out what works for you.

Hey there! need help from you guys... I want to have a better taste of the flavor. Do i stick with manual dripping or get a tank? thanks!

Have you ever thought about giving a bottom feeder a try? I am loving my VMOD XL and can't recommend it enough. The bottom feeders are a god combination of both direct dripping and have a tank.
