Looks like I'm in the minority on this one... I have three auto shorties that I love. My best guess is that they are the best "replication" of smoking an analog (size, weight, function). They're my go-to batts through the week at work. I have a manual PT with the computer that's a vape machine, but I'm leaning towards getting the new auto PT for the truck... and who says addiction isn't fun?

Thanks for this convo... I only have autos and have wondered about the manual batts.
My hubby has very limited dexterity in his hands, so manuals don't work for him. I wanted the most 'analog like' feel, so I went with the autos.

I guess I'm about the only one here who isn't a huge fan of the PT's either, (manual) don't know if it's cuz it's more work or if the cord just doesn't make me feel 'cigarette' enough.
I have an auto PT coming, and I'm hoping I'll adjust more to it. Now you've all got me wondering if I should try a manual battery for me as well.

My manual XL's perform pretty darn close to my passthrough. I have found that the wire bugs me, and even though I love my passthrough, I am pretty much exclusively using my manual XL's now even when at the computer. WARNING! Do not try to get between me and my Manual XL's and Butterscotch cartos! ;)

And yeah, for me it is manuals all the way!

I prefer manuals after reading a lot between the autos and manuals and finally ordering my first e-cig as a manual.
Right now, there are two big reasons for me to like manuals: "I rather control my vape than have to primer puff" and "I ride a supersport motorcycle that has a lot of vibration."

Go Manuals ^_^

Just so you are aware... V4L autos don't require a "primer puff" and they aren't set off by a "lot of vibration".

After smoking for 35+ years and liking it, I used only the autos thinking that it would be more like smoking analogs. Needing more batteries & maybe some that would last longer, the XL kit finally arrived. They were manuals. Thinking they had screwed up my order the manuals were going to be returned the next business day. I was visiting the lady who gave me my first carto when the last auto battery died so decided to see if the new batteries had any life in them. The increased amount of vapor amazed both of us! Decided to now go with manuals only & don't mind pressing the button after all. At first all I wanted were the stronger flavors like coffee & thought the fruity flavors included as freebies sucked. Went analog free (accidentally) on October 13 & fruity tastes better & better. It's easier too to tell if the battery needs charging. Maybe it's the evolution of the switch.
P.S. V4L did not screw up the order, I did.

Ah! Good to know. Great if I order another set or talk some friends into ordering some from V4Ls. I just had that general idea of all automatic KR8s. I'm liking my manual so far, but maybe I'll go for an auto next time.
